I have had a great experience with both the psychiatrist and psychologist (Corrine is the best!) that I have. With the shortage of mental health practitioners nowadays, I consider it a blessing.

If I didn’t need my meds through my psychiatrist here.. I would never step foot in this place again. Therapists are habitually late, cutting appointments early, or canceling altogether. I get that things happen but when my time is constantly disrespected, that is not okay. One therapist asked me three appointments in a row the SAME questions, for example, are you on any meds? First of all, my chart is right in front of you. Second of all, thanks for listening the first two times I told you. They don’t care. Then I got referred for DBT therapy. I had to cancel the first of three appointments because I got called into work. I called with plenty of time in advance to cancel, and asked to keep my other two appointments. I was told that’s not a problem. Fast forward to appt day and I show up, they don’t have anything for me. In fact, they canceled all of my appointments. Because the first appointment canceled was an intake and I have to do that first. Obviously, but I assumed they had moved that to this appointment that I didn’t cancel. They could’ve let me know over the phone initially, instead they wasted my time and energy. Front desk lady seemed cold and didn’t care, said I had to call and set up the appointments again. Really didn’t want to but I did. And you know what they told me?? THEY DONT HAVE OPENINGS ANYMORE. You just cannot make this up. Nystrom is trash, don’t go here unless you have to. I found somewhere else and they were so kind and helpful, and I got in within a week.

Dr Erickson is relatively new to Nystrom Mn … and I for 1 am glad he was there for my first visit. Great listener, attempts to understand where I’m at and beginning to offer suggestions. Good start for me. I cannot say enough good things about Shelby Helgut.

By far the BEST therapy experience. Corrine is so beyond wonderful. I can't even explain the great things this woman has done for me. She is so empathetic, understanding, gentle and patient. She is somebody who genuinely cares about the people she treats. I don't feel like I'm being judged, and I don't feel anxious like I usually do with doctors, therapists, etc. There aren't words for how much I adore her and look forward to seeing her every week.

I really appreciate and love coming to them for helping me with my mental help and getting myself back right from going through a very traumatic childhood thank you so much nystrom & associates for all the help you guys provide. I will one day be able to tell my story and help or refer someone else to y'all.
