I love how Dr. Engel talks to my kiddo and not only to me. His whole staff is so amazing and patient when the kids don't want to do what they are supposed to. They never hesitate to shift the way they are working with the patient. In the chair, on the floor or even going back to something if they have to.

Dr. Engel was thorough, compassionate, and gentle with our very shy three year old. We highly recommend Dr. Engle and Northwest Eye Clinic.

The guy who did 90% of the exam (Tim) was wonderful! Dr Engel I was less than impressed with. We drove over an hour to see him because we wanted to see a pediatric ophthalmologist. He didn’t explain what he was going to be doing, and then just came in with the eye prescription and said okay go get her glasses. Mind you, this is for my 4 year old. So was looking for more information and guidance on what the next steps are. Will absolutely not be going back to him. He had terrible bedside manner for a child. My daughter loved Tim. Getting a second opinion because I didn’t get a good answer from Dr Engel.

Dr Engle was so compassionate and professional. He took his time to explain everything. He also gave us good information. I appreciate all the time he took to give our son the best possible care. The front desk staff and technicians were all very kind and so pleasant to work with!

Dr Engel is a gentle, kind professional. He takes time to engage both our sons and show interest in them every time he sees them. He is very child centered in his approach and puts both our children completely at ease in his presence.
