Had to bring my 11 year old daughter for appendicitis and everyone was very friendly but the reason for the 5 stars was Dr. Jason Glenn he was the best surgeon I've ever dealt with! I don't trust hospitals or doctors and this guy was patient understanding and totally awesome! Thanks Dr. Glenn

Had to drain a very painful large infected cyst at home because they didn't want to do anything for me here and they expected me to wait longer than I already have waited for another appointment. It was to the point if I had waited even a day longer it would have likely ruptured inside of my body like the last cyst I had. the doctors here did not listen to me at all and were acting like I was wasting their time. I sat in a room for 5 hours to be told information that I already knew and treated like trash. I shouldn't have to Lance my own cysts because your doctors are too lazy to do their job.

Update : a day after writing review the business office contacted me and are re running insurances because the gentleman did see what happened and wanted to make it right. So waiting for this to come back and will change review. Thank you Monti centracare for reaching out. Brought my son to ER here and the man who worked the front desk didn't know what we was doing. Few months later get a bill in the mail regarding visit. After contacting both of my sons insurance companies found out that he had inputted the insurances wrong, my insurance ID number under his dad's plan and vice versa. Called the central care number and talked to a woman who said after I had to convince her what they had was wrong she said she'd take my info and pass it along to her insurance team. Because she herself had no background regarding billing and insurance. Turns out she never did and now i have an extremely large bill due. Never will I ever go here again. I'd rather go to Buffalo.

The Worst hospital I've ever been to! They don’t care about patient! Everyone so rude and not professional! I stayed here for 2.5 hours just did 2 tests and asked me go home, My covid test was positive. I asked for some take home treatment to help the symotoms. Paxlovid is the most common. they told me I don’t need medication.After 2 days My symptoms get worse, I called back they still didn’t give me the Paxlovid. After 5 days my symptoms get more and more worse I call them again, they told me too late for have Paxlovid……. Unbelievable! How a horrible people there are!!!!

It was a few years ago when I was seen here. Overall the disrespect from the EMS and doctors here makes me traumatized to this day.

Er almost killed me by not doing thier job properly and checking with L&D when I came in 3 days pp with stroke level blood pressure. Sent me home having done nothing. Ended up going back less then 8 hrs later. They then consultanted L&D at which time I was immediately admission and started on aggressive treatment. Er department. - stars L&D 5 stars.

I had a really great experience and very excellent care from and a amazing team of staff!! 😃 Dr Magnusonand staff did and amazing job helping me so happy 😊

My daughter needed stitches and the staff were not friendly. They said “hold still or we will have to strap you down” to a 9 year old! She was crying and rightfully terrified and they made it worse. The nurse even laughed while she cried as if she was just being dramatic… if I could rate this er ZERO STARS I would!

I was a patient at the Monticello hospital in June. I went through the emergency room. I was there for kidney stones. While I was there a man entered my room, asked me if I could walk down stairs and I told him yes. He then said he was from physical therapy and I needed to prove that I could. So I walked down the hall on my own, entered the therapy room and walked up and down the steps and then walked back to my room. They charged me $250.00 for this. I was never informed why and being from out of state, my insurance would not pay for this. I protested but they are now threatening me with collections so I either pay or have it go against my credit. I feel that this was a total scam and just a way to fleece patients of more money. Nobody could tell me why this was done which is really frustrating. I could be on my death bed but would never go back there.

Every single time that I am a patient at this hospital, I always deal with the rude staff. I genuinely feel bad for people that have no choice but to go to this hospital because the service is completely unacceptable. Train your staff members, doctors and nurses to have more sympathy and understanding for their patients needs
