Dr. Koehler has performed epidural injections and hip injections trying to alleviate my back and hip pain. He is the most sincere, super competent and inclusive doctor you will ever have. He tells you exactly what he’s doing, never leaves you out of the loop and is sincerely concerned with the patient. On top of that, he’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Very good care and attention to my 15 year old son. The doctor and staff made the experience low -stress for my son and me. They took time to explain the procedure and to answer our questions.

One of the best doctors I have had the privilege of being treated by. He takes the time to listen and doesn't hurry you through your visit. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I wish there were more physicians like him!

Wow! This is the nicest doctor I have ever met! He listened to my concerns, making eye contact the whole time. He asked me clarifying questions and was sympathetic to my concerns. I was very impressed that I left his office with typed notes in hand, so that I had an objective summary to share with my husband. I would recommend him completely and without hesitation!

My directive to Dr Koehler is that his job is to diagnose, prescribe and guide the management of medical needs related to my aging bones and body. I am committed to preventing the disabling effects related to that Itis brother, Arthur. --Get it!!! Arthritis. Dr. Koehler smiles when I tell him his job is to keep me pushing the wheel chair, not riding in it and help me maintain my body strength, flexibility, balance and endurance until about three days before I am buried. --hopefully 100. A rehab dietitian, I understand the importance of writing a list of symptoms, communicating important details about my conditions, asking for options, clarity and recommendations. When we have decided on the best treatment plan, my job is to follow through on his recommendations and not stop going or blame the doctor because I didn't get better. The same is true of physical therapy or taking medications as prescribed. I've never felt rushed, not listened too or that I didn't understand; he used models and explained my condition showing me where Arthur leaves his mark of inflamation on my joints. (itis=inflamation) Doctors are not God. But Dr. Koehler comes close.
