This is the worst eye “care” clinic I have ever been to and I feel like I need to warn everyone who may come across this message..PLEASE go somewhere else! I have a history of retinal tears and went in to get a new prescription and have Donald Sealock make sure a previously repaired tear had not spread. He has no bedside manner and called me “Rockstar.” I’m an adult. He had his assistants measure the prescription on my glasses TWICE because he could not seem to get it right. He would get frustrated with me for not being able to tell the difference between two settings on the instrument. I then asked him about the retinal tears (of which I had previously) and he claimed that I HAD to have had head trauma for that to occur. I told him I had not had head trauma and he proceeded to gas light me for 5 minutes saying I must have had head trauma. Overall, I got a prescription. Which is great, except it was completely wrong. I couldn’t see out of the glasses I ordered and had to return them. At that moment I went to my old doctor from my home town. Turns out the diopter measurement of my prescription was off by over 5 degrees in each eye (if it is over 1 degree you cannot see properly). Summary: Donald Sealock butchered my prescription and told me I had head trauma (found out from a credible Dr that you can get retinal tears from a fast changing prescription, which I had). DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN

Dr. Sealock and Kristina helped me recover from a concussion and restore my vision. I am so grateful to have gotten top notch care during my vision therapy treatment. I highly recommend this facility for all vision needs/concussions. I also want to thank Chelsea the receptionist at the Buffalo location for helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. The whole Four Season's Eye Care team is amazing.:) Thank you for all you guys do.

I have been seeing Dr. Sealock throughout my life starting at age 4 for eye therapy. He is very talented as what he does. If it wasn't for him and how he did eye therapy with me I wouldn't have been able to drive, as a kid ride a bike. He is VERY thoral. I tell people if your insurance takes him get seen by him.

I saw Dr. Sealock this past Summer for an evaluation for vision therapy stemming from a concussion a few years ago for which I've done therapy at two other providers and seem numerous other Dr for. I began to have a migraine during the appointment that ran 2 hours with different people coming in and out in a disorganized fashion. I was left in the room alone for 10 minutes at a time repeatedly during the course of the appointment. At one point Dr. Sealock came in to look at my "dilated eyes" that had not been dilated yet. I didn't appreciate being spoken to like a child with being called "Rockstar" and other inappropriate for an adult names during my appointment which perhaps is just habit from working with kiddos? Finally at the end of the 2 hour, chaotic appointment, He came in to give me his "summary". He stated that he would testify in court that I hadn't done any vision therapy when I had indeed been working very hard and that he didn't see any heterotrophia for which I wear prism lenses. My heart immediately sank. He said he'd call me in two weeks with a plan for me. I patiently waited for his call while feeling in limbo because two providers before had told me I do indeed have vertical heterotrophia for which I wear prisms and which have helped me to feel more grounded in my world instead of dizzy and off balance constantly. I've also previously been told that progressive lenses would most likely exacerbate my condition and weren't recommended. I had to call the office a few times to get ahold of him when I didn't hear within the two weeks. So....his plan for me was to put me in progressives without prisms. I stated in the call that I had a migraine at the time of testing. He said "redo the tests then, I don't care". His demeanor came off as defensive and rude to my questions. This seemed all wrong to me and felt condescending. I subsequently traveled to Chicago to see a neurologist who did confirm I have vertical heterotrophia along with vestibular migraine. I decided Dr. Sealock was not the provider for me. I've since started vision therapy for two months now at B. E. (abbreviation) Vision Clinic in Mtka. The Dr. and therapists are wonderful and I've seen progress steadily. Oh, and they're also said that progressives aren't recommended for my condition and that I do indeed have vertical heterotrophia. Anyway, I highly recommend going elsewhere if you have concussion related vision issues which is puzzling to me because Dr. Sealock is touted on his website as being experienced in this area. Good luck TBI survivors. This is hard but worth it to keep hope and keep trying to recover. Don't let providers that don't know what to do with you hold you back! UPDATE: I completed my 5 months of eye therapy at a nearby place called Bright Eyes. I am driving regularly again and reading books! I’m wearing single vision lenses with a tiny prism but am also wearing contacts without the prism with success!

I came here from out of town and lost a contact and had no backup. The lady at the front was very nice and helped me get my vision back quickly

This place is okay. Went for my first contact lenses appointment. It was horrible they brought in the pair and told me to put it. It was my first time how I am supposed to do that? Took me back and showed me to do it. The contacts felt uncomfortable and my vision came back and forth. I excepted this but this did not feel right. My eyes were hurting. I didn’t even have time to ask questions seemed like they were in a hurry and unorganized. As I was leaving they told me to wear it for a little bit and see how it goes. As I was leaving they forgot to give me the box and solution. Honelsty I am very disappointed in this place. Also when I wanted to try contacts I told that over the phone and when I came in the doctor told one of the person to help me look for glasses. I didn’t need glasses or updates on them. Glasses that are not covered by insurance are so cheap and break so easily. They are unorganized and don’t know what their patients need. Don’t go here there are other great places.
