The staff were wonderful during my surgery and I had a good experience with the medical care here. However, I have several issues with the billing department that remain unresolved. I've contacted the billing department no less than 6 times and I get the run-around. I keep getting billed for a procedure that my insurance company is paying for. Good luck trying to speak to a manager. They don't return my phone calls.
I just wanted to thank everyone that worked with me yesterday for my inner ear surgery, the staff noticed how incredibly stressed I was as procedures make me incredibly anxious. They made sure not to crowd me, they were open and honest. Overall just making sure I was as comfortable as can be. Truly 5/5 stars for them. As even though I’m grown, I still have the mind of a child when it comes to surgery, and other such things. They did a impeccable job to really make me as comfortable as possible. You all are great at what you do, thank uou!!
i recently had laser-assisted surgery at the center and would recommend this site to anyone having same-day surgery. The staff was amazing! So caring and helpful.
The staff treated me like a queen beginning to end. So kind and so friendly and very professional. Information was clear and concise. Top notch surgery facility!
I am an international PhD student at Computer Science department of the U of M. I recently visited the West Health Surgery Center for an outpatient operation on my right knee. The reason of my visit was that i have been suffering from a chronic ACL rupture and a recent bucket handle meniscus tear caused by soccer injury. My operation at the West Health Surgery Center namely was: "Right knee ACL reconstruction from quadriceps tendon and meniscus repair". Below i analytically provide my review from the time i first met and discuss with my surgeon Dr Fader until i got back home after the surgery: - I first met with Dr Fader about 3 months before i decide to do my surgery. His world class professionalism both from a clinical/medical point of view as well as from a interpersonal/communication point of view made me get his trust and listen to his experienced advice carefully. He suggested a surgery if my goal is to get back in my active workout routine (soccer) and start physical therapy appointments until we prepare my leg and knee for the operation (strengthen muscles etc). - Dr Fader connected me with the Physical Therapy Center "Motion" and talked to my therapist Mrs Robinson for my PT plan. For the next 2-3 months until the surgery i followed a top notch PT plan under Mrs Robinson that helped me not only to get my muscles on my legs stronger but also go be mentally ready for the coming operation. - On July 7th i entered the West Health Surgery Center for my surgery operation on my right knee as i mentioned earlier. From the first minute the healthcare team, managed by Mrs Melissa Jones, provided a world class service that made me feel very comforfable and ready for the operation. All the nursing staff including but not limited to Mr Joe and Mrs Sharon that i faced with, performed excellent and answered all of my pre-operational questions very transparently and in detail. Next Dr Fader met me in my pre-operation room and he precisily made sure that i am ready for the surgery. - Next i met with my anesthesiologist Dr Jacobs. Dr Jacobs is a very genuine doctor that explained to me with all the details the process of the anesthesia for my operation. He positively and kindly insisted on willing to be asked more questions from me fact that helped me to do actually learn some more details about how the anesthesia works. He certainly made me have zero concerns about the whole process from the time that i had to get to sleep to the time i woke up after the surgery. - Last i woke up after my surgery at the recovery room. Dr Fader made his magic! My ACL has been reconstructed and my meniscus tear has been totally repaired. My experience at the West Health Surgery Center for my knee surgery as well as my total interaction with all the members of this healthcare team makes me to undoubtfully rank their center in the top 1% of the nation. Dr Fader which i personally believe ranks in the 0.5% of the nation and his team is highly recommended for this kind of sport injuries! Thank you all in the WHC for this amazing experience Best Regards, Petros Apostolou
Administration is less then desirable here! Unfortunately it’s a part of health care. I found the administrative staff to be uneducated in important pre-surgical instructions (their error costed me an additional 1,500$) and rude to me as a patient. The medical professionals were great, so I find it a big bummer that West Health can’t meet the standards of their medical staff.
I had an excellent experience with my same day sugery. The staff was very kind, informative, and respectful. I would absolutely recommend the Plymouth campus.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
