Unprofessional. Would have given them no stars but couldn't. Was referred to see a specific therapist at Nystroms by a health provider. Was told that therapist was not taking new patients but since we were referred they would ask them if they could fit us in their schedule. Nystroms therapist said they would take us, so we made our initial appointment, over two weeks out. Nystrom also pressed us to make 3 additional appointments. We submitted our intake online and got our appointment confirmation call 4 days prior to our initial appointment. Then we received a call stating the therapist was leaving. This call was 3 days before our 1st appointment. Was told we could make an appointment with a different therapist. None of the other therapists profiles states specific specialized interest in the issues we were being treated for. We declined the offer to see a different therapist. We just wished we hadn't submitted the intake with our personal information. Very unprofessional for a mental health provider.

I would highly recommend Nystrom & Associate's. Make sure you choose a therapist that is a good match for you! The therapist I have is fabulous! She's highly educated, easy to communicate with in a relaxing clean environment. I have learned so much about myself and have so much more to explore and figure out. The Receptionists in Red Wing are both super nice and greet me upon my arrival. The price per visit is reasonable as my insurance doesn't cover it. It's also local. They have an appointment reminder set up a day before and again the morning of your appointment. Making appointments online is never a local person, I prefer in person and make my appointments before I leave. You can also set up appointments weeks ahead of time. Toni Hartfield 03/13/22
