List of Transitional Care By Saint Therese's Reviews
I spent my summer at St. Therese Transitional Care recovering from an infection in my heart valve. I couldn't have spent my summer with a better group of professionals. The nurses, aides, physical therapists, physicians, social workers and clergy were all very awesome. Amanda, Nicole and Cody were exceptional. I am grateful to all of them for my recovery. Thank you!!
I stayed at this TCU. The therapy staff who worked with me like James, Dane , and others taught me different ways to manage with daily tasks that you don't realize you rely on , until you are injured. My nurses Kristi, Rachel, Blessing where so kind and caring. Megan, Azeb, Rachel, Cody, Ida, Janice provided amazing care. I would like to give a very special thank you to my manager Amanda. Amanda from the first day came in and explained everything. I had a situation in which I was very afraid during my stay. Amanda took care of me that day, stayed by my side, held my hand and assured me I would be alright. I feel like Dr. Tamahae and Amanda saved my life and I am forever gratful. There are so many great people at this facility and many names I am not mentioning, I apologize. In addition to my recovery they play bingo here. To hear others laugh and myself while in a rehab setting is refreshing. The DON Nicole was also providing laughs and handing out prizes. You guys really have a connection and I wanted everyone to know I am thankful.
I was in Saint Therese TCU for about 3 weeks.. I received excellent care! The staff was so kind and helpful. So many of the staff were incredible like Caliasia, Janice, Angel and the rest of the aides even if I can't list their names. Many of the nurses were wonderful too. The Occupational therapist and physical therapist (Cari) were so informative, encouraging, and fun! We played Bingo and the entire staff made it fun.Cory, the coordinator was very helpful in tying everything together. The whole thing was a much better experience than I expected. I would not hesitate to recommend Saint Therese TCU! Thanks for everything!.❤
My brother in law was treated at this Tcu. What a wonderful experience he had and our family had with this facility. The team we spoke with in a consistent basis was Amanda and Nicole. He had a wound that was completely healed !! The expectation was the wound may never go away and they were amazing explaining everything. Thank you so much I recommend going there!!!
The team did an incredible job taking care of my dad when he was there. I was impressed with the wholistic approach, communication, and practical recommendations. Thank you, Cody, and all the others for taking a true interest in my dad and making a difference in his life.
My brother was admitted while having extreme lower back pain. Much different(location and intensity) then then his long term back pain. Nurse Manager Amanda King researched on her own time and found a very unusual infection that were caused by several factors coming together. Sent him down to the ER where after an MRI they found THAT infection. The infectious disease Doc said that Amanda likely saved his life. Thanks to everyone there! Drs, nurses, administrators, social worker’s , physical therapist’s, cleaning folks, orderlies and anyone else, as you all played a part in getting my brother home strong and independent! You are a blessing!ThanksJim Streu
Worst place ever!!! My mother went here for rehab after receiving foot surgery at North Memorial Hospital, which required her to get rehab for 5-6 weeks. We chose this place due to the convenience of it being located within North Memorial Hospital. However, the experience was really bad from the start. 1. The staff and the social worker at their facility constantly gave misinformation resulting in my mother not getting the proper care for multiple days and leaving there in a worst state than when she entered. 2. They did not orchestrate her stay there very well, food was bad, they all seems uninformed of notes they had in the system about the patients etc. 3. totally failed on her proper discharge, which caused her to stay there an additional 8 days at their facility until they figured it out.I would not recommend this facility for care for a loved one. We initially chose this place because of the convenience of being within the hospital, but she still had to leave and arrange transportation to get to outside doctor appointments - which could have been taking care of at the hospital. I understand co-vid 19 state policies played a role, but their rules and their service made it very very difficult. I’m glad she’s out of there!
I would highly recommend you avoid this facility at all costs. I took my wife out of here and to a hospital where she is being treated for a disease she contracted while in this facility. The staff is exceedingly rude. My wife overheard racist comments from the staff. My wife was denied medications that were prescribed and on her med list. Her bedding was not changed in 5 days even though there was feces in her bed. The director of the facility has not returned my calls. Seriously, look elsewhere.
I spent 5 months and 2 days in 3 different hospitals during the summer and fall of 2019. I had surgeries at Mercy, recovery at Regency and rehab at St. Thérèse. My 2 months at St. T's was not without set-backs, so my needs were somewhat varied, but the staff was not to blame for them. The nurses there were kind, competent, caring and as attentive as a busy staff could be or I needed them to be, although thinking about it... I didn't much enjoy being awakened at 5:30 every AM to have blood drawn. :-/ Mariah, Natasha, Varbah, Brad, Trina, Joyce, Holly in OT, Hayley in PT, Kristi, Jayde, Christine and all the others (forgive me for not being able to list everyone) who kept me alive, progressing, and gaining strength were terrific. Thank you all! I pray for your safety in this time of covid. Be safe and well, y'all. I can recommend this facility and these caregivers without reservation. Please pass this message on to them.Jane Gauker
The nurses are better here, because they're going to hire me. Things have/will change around. Better things are happening, and knew people have taken over. Please don't give up on them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
