Afsaneh Alavi's Online Review Report Card

Every single time I write a detailed review, it disappears... like magic. Poof! The power to erase negative reviews by this, and other physicians is appalling... just remember while reading these reviews that there are many you do NOT see. Dr. Alavi attended to me for years, simply because there was no-one else willing to look at my type of chronic wound condition. She presumptively declared herself a “specialist” in this field. She was FAR more interested in having me answer questions on another condition I had, that was not troublesome to further HER cause in some way shape or form. The abuse with medication trials (esp. biologics) even though they significantly scarred me with more wounds, the pleading I had to do to be taken seriously about my 4 hour a day wound care regime all fell on deaf ears. She would “not hear” or contradict my thoughts and leave the room to avoid discussion. The worsening of my condition came on many fronts... the wounds worsened, the steroids which, although being an insulin dependent diabetic, made life a living nightmare and the associated trips to other Dr’s because of her mismanagement were frequent. I have finally found another VERY competent Dr... and just in the nick of time. Please be VERY informed when it comes to seeing this person.

Been going to her for about 2 years and now that she has left, I realized how much time was wasted. Do not recommend AT ALL.

Dr. Afaneh alavi is a very punctual and knowledgeable doctor. I belived in her diagnosis and treatments. She is one of the helpful doctors I have met. From one of her patients ezzatossadat mahdavi.

She has a high level of knowledge and is very friendly and compassionate. For his patients, his diagnosis is very accurate

She barely looked at me, not involved at all. I waited 3 months for an appointment that took 2 minutes.

Stay far away. My wound condition did nothing but worsen under her “care” (I use that term lightly). Not at all interested in your concerns, will bark an order at an underling and back out of the room to avoid discussion. She never wants to investigate ANY solution that isn’t directly attributable to Big Pharma... please do what I did, run away... it will be the best wound care decision you ever make.

She doesn’t know what she is doing, she has only proved to worsen all my skin problem. She doesn’t know what she is doing and her prescribed medicines has made my skin problems worse and instead to of helping she couldn’t even figure out what the causes were. Never returning to her again. Best of luck to her future patients.
