List of Amanda Thoendel's Reviews
Dr. Thoendle is great. She has always been very easy for me to get in touch with, easy to make an appointment with and helpful with any and all questions I’ve had. She is very straight forward in her delivery, even if it’s a difficult conversation and very helpful in any follow up. I’ve recommended her to friends who couldn’t be happier as well.
Insulting! She was condescending -- the physician-as-God thing -- and practically accused me of being an addict because I've had surgery and occasionally need a mild prescription pain killer. I take one pill a day two or three days a week. Not exactly an addict. I've liked Dr. Thoendel in the past. It's too bad she's changed. But she has, and so unpleasantly that I'm looking for another general practitioner.
Dr. Thoendel is great to work with. She is always up to date on my results from other doctors in special areas and is very personable. She is my primary doctor and I am very pleased with her.
I am on an SSRI and was out of my medication and she refused to refill my medication until I saw her for an appointment. I had one set up, but they were a month out so I couldn’t get in right away and she basically said tough and left me without my antidepressant at a very critical time in my life. Do not see this “doctor” if you like your mental and physical health being in check.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
