Dr. Keegan is amazing! Aside from his intelligence, he was very personable. He answered all my questions and helped put me at ease. His educational background speaks for itself! Thank you, Dr. Keegan!
Phenomenal
This doctor has NO personal skills. Came into the room like he was hopped up on some thing, asked us specific questions and tried to almost bully us into the answer. He didn’t listen to any of the concerns we had. He then said you need to hurry up and make a decision because I have to either place orders or not. He gave us his business card and left. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME
I was nervous reading all your comments. I have had bad luck with dismissive doctors that tell me "I'm too young to have neurological issues." Dr. Keegan though, and MAYO as a whole, fabulous! After almost eight years of being undiagnosed, he and his team figured it out in six days. So eternally grateful, to tears, because not only does this have a name but it's TREATABLE! I am so so grateful to him and the massive team that got me this answer. He was kind, gentle, explained thoroughly, and opened the floor to my husband and I floor questions. I'm sorry most of you had a different experience. Please trust in this doctor
Not personable at all. Doesn't give you much time to ask questions, you are just another patient that he rushes through the door. There are much better neurologists at Mayo!!
If I could give a negative rating I would. This neurologist doesn't care about the quality of life of his patients, just puts them on a drug, and is done with you. Blames his patients for not improving, even if all the symptoms match adverse side effects of the therapeutic. I would say patients beware, and don't be fooled by his credentials on paper!
I had a bad experience with my initial neurologist at mayo and Dr. Keegan was kind enough to see me for follow-up. He was easy to talk to, kind, and compassionate. He explained things well and gave me hope. I left my appointment feeling much better about my condition.
Dr. Keegan was kind enough to see me for a follow-up after my first neurologist was not up to expectations (rude, condescending, did not listen, etc). ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
