AVOID Dr Elder, he left me way worse than when I met him. I had surgery by him and after that he was completely unreachable to me. He never responded to one message I sent him on the patient portal and no response to calls after a very serious injury I am still suffering with. He never once messaged me back. I was refused an appointment calling many times. Waited a year all the while suffering in pain and he finally begrudgingly had a video visit and local imaging saying I needed surgery. After that was refused an appointment again. I would never trust Dr Elder or recommend him to my worse enemy. My only impression is that he didn’t care about me at all. I wouldn’t trust him with your life.

Dr Elder performed 2 major back surgeries for me in 2019 and I think he was Excellent. Explained everything very well, was never in a rush and took all the time that I needed for questions. Couldn't have asked for any better.

Dr. Elder did my back surgery August 8th of 2018. At the time I could hardly walk 100', without resting, or go up stairs. At 74 my body is not the same as a young man; however, I am able to do 95% of what I did before the back issues. I am very grateful to Dr. Elder and hope my wife will be able to see him should she need surgery. His prognosis for recovery was right on. Thank you Dr Elder. JBV
