Dr. Carrie made me feel very uncomfortable and would not listen to me. She frequently talked over me and would reply with condescending remarks .

She’s a terrible neurologist. She’ll completely waste your time by talking over you and making you feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Dr. Robertson was amazing. She was kind and allowed me time to go through all of my questions. She did a good job answering them and making me feel comfortable. She gave me all of the pros and cons of each medication option and allowed me to help in the decision rather than just telling me take something. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I’m sure Dr. Robertson is a knowledgeable neurologist. However, my experience wasn’t great. She wasn’t a great listener and seemed to really not care about what I was saying and talked over me. During my exam she randomly looked atme and said “your eyes are red, did you do some recreational drugs like marijuana before you came today?” The way she was talking to me and over me was overwhelming and disrespectful. (By the way, I don’t do drugs!!) I drove an hour and a half to waste an entire day. I most likely won’t be back.

I'm not sure how Dr. Robertson has no reviews yet, she is hands down the best doctor I have ever visited. Professional in every aspect, always straightforward about the information she is providing and the sources of her information. Always takes complaints seriously and is very thorough in her examination of symptoms. Her decisions for me were research driven and she made sure to explain them all in great detail. I was educated on cost-benefit analysis for each potential treatment option and how it would impact the mechanism of my medical issue. Truly outstanding neurologist, I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Though we have not come yet to a firm conclusion on what exactly is going on/the best treatment option for me, we are exploring a lot right now. And the fact that she is willing to explore says a lot to me. Most doctors take their word as final, but Dr. Robertson has been willing to listen to my input/concerns and use my knowledge as well to help us figure out this mess. She listens and asks extremely detailed questions. I think our appointment was almost two hours long and the whole time she was listening and typing out my responses. I shared some deeply personal info with her and she was considerate and kind and thanked me for trusting her. I was so impressed with her, the other clinicians at Mayo that I am considering going to Mayo for their Physician's Assistant program. There is something different in the air there at Mayo and it is HOPE. Being young and going through nerve pain after having a very successful life/career has been an isolating and devastating experience and I was treated with nothing but respect and empathy.

I went 20 years without a diagnosis and within 30 mins of talking to Dr. Robertson she gave me three!! The answers I had searched so long for! She really is amazing! She was very thorough and compassionate. Our appt time ran too long and she had to get to other appointments so she had my husband and I come back to talk more later that day. I was so pleased! She came up with several treatment plans and explained in depth about my conditions. I feel blessed to be able to be seen at Mayo Clinic by Dr. Robertson!

Did not listen well; interrupted frequently when in mid-sentence or pausing before completing a thought; questionnaire before meeting was too general for everyone to use, forcing misleading answers; dismissive of questions

Dr. Robertson was thorough, listened and gave her opinion on the problem. She was almost 8 months pregnant at my visit but she was one of the most considerate doctors I've seen. She spent a great deal of time with me and my husband and shows empathy. I would recommend her highly. She checked on several things after the appointment to make sure all was ok.

Very detailed, very nice doctor. I like the way she came up with a plan and also a back-up plan in case the first medicine didn't work. I feel like I actually got to participate in making the decisions rather than the doctor just telling me what to take. The only downside is she did a LOT of teaching during the visit, and I was only able to retain a small percent because of my headaches. I did take lots of notes though!! And she answered all my questions very thoroughly.
