Dr. Meyer was amazing from the time I first met him through my 1st surgery and all of my questions following the surgery. I had to have a revision surgery done 18 months after that to help control pain from the first surgery. He was very up front that there was only a 50% chance of success but said if that’s what I wanted we would go through with the surgery. He ended up preforming the surgery and it was successful! They were great on following up to see how my recovery was going and are always open to questions. If I ever need to see a neurosurgeon again Dr. Meyer will be my first choice!

I do recommend Dr. Meyer to anyone facing neurosurgery. Dr. Meyer saved my life in 2001 with successful aneurysm surgery. Dr. Meyer and his staff are the best this country has to offer.

Dr. Meyer is the BEST doctor!! He is my hero. I tell everyone this when I tell my story. He saved me a couple years ago at Mayo. I’m from Chicago and I had many difficulties, I gave up with everything there, and my family and I decided to head over to Mayo Clinic.. thank goodness we did!!! Dr. Meyer is an incredible surgeon, he is an amazing person too, he is so reliable and friendly and humble, he is someone you could trust, you feel that immediately!! I have been doing great since then, I am happy and I always feel so lucky and grateful. I will never ever forget Dr. Meyer!!!!

Surgery went very wrong. Wish I would have skipped surgery and just lived my life. Death would have been a better outcome than going through surgery with Dr. Meyer.

It has been 18 years since my surgery by Dr. Meyers, and I am doing very well. Others surgeons refused to operate due to complications of the arteries. I am now 77 years old and so appreciative of Dr. Meyers and all of Mayo Clinic's patient care.

In 2017 he did my Menigomia surgery. He is straight forward in talking to you. He makes sure you understand and makes you feel like you are in the best care. Excellent Doctor!
