We went to our local Children's Hospital and left having more questions then answers. Dr. Keating sat with us and explained everything to us in a way that both us as parents, and also my 13 year old daughter could understand. We traveled about 4 hours to meet with her and is was so worth it.

Dr. Keating is phenomenal! She is very thorough and cares for each and every one of her patients. She makes my son and myself feel like we are the only patients she has. Her recall of information is amazing. She is a part of our family!

Dr. Keating was one of the best doctors we have ever seen, and my daughter ha seen top doctors for years for her neurological condition. She spent about two hours with her and ran appropriate tests that same day. Then she called with results and a diagnosis that afternoon . A brilliant and lovely physician and person--very honored to have seen her.

THIS WAS PROBABLY OUR WORST EXPERINCE IN 17 YEARS OF DEALING WITH A PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGIST. SHE WAS RUDE AND MORE INTERESTED IN TELLING US PERSONAL STORIES AND TALKING TO MY HUSBAND THAN SHE WAS IN OUR SON- THE REASON WE DROVE 800 MILES TO BE SEEN. WE ENDED UP COMING HOME AND HAVING TO GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR TO GET OUR QUESTION ANSWERED ( SHE DOES NOT LIKE ANYONE ELSE TALKING UNLESS YOU ARE SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO). I HAVE TRIED REPEATEDLY TO CALL ADMINISTRATION- BUT THEY WILL NOT ANSWER OUT CALLS.

Waited for this doctor for over 45 mins.Staff not knowledgeable,not helpful. Stuff and doctors are puppets of harsh impersonal system designed to milk your insurance for all its worth. Unnecessary and painful procedures ordered for child, some-at the risk to the child's health and safety-to generate revenues, some-without insurance approval,left us with $9,950 uncovered.Poor communication with insurance on Mayo's part left us unable to see the only specialist important to our child's treatment. For same reasons,Mayo refuses to accept tests from other recognized medical institutions. Unnecessary general anesthesia for child during MRI left us with $6500 unpaid by insurance.No thyroid protection for 30-min X-Ray test. Mayo octors like to take their time with appointments and generate $450 to $750 bills for each, without contributing to the solution of the problem. An important symptom leading to the diagnosis had to be pointed out to the dr. by a resident of asian descent.
