Dr Van Gompel is an amazing Surgeon and man. He didn't sugar coat the fact that he was not sure if the Deep Brain Stimulator was going to work for me. It did, and I owe my life to him

Dr Van Gompel performed my pituitary tumor surgery in 9/2022. We loved his genuine care for us and was honest and so relatable. His amazing knowledge and skill was clear from the beginning. We are forever grateful for his team, the time they spent with us, their expertise, and that he came to visit me twice in the hospital while recovering and called my home with pathology results. Such a personal touch you don’t find in most drs. 5 stars all the way !

Dr. VanGompel and his team made the best experience of a scary situation. The removal of my skull based meningioma had the very best outcome. He is as talented, gifted, caring, surgeon with amazing skills. My scar is barely visable, he did not use staples to close my incision. I could not be more blessed!

Dr. Van Gompel was my husbands neurosurgeon. He has great bedside manner, was obviously very knowledgeable and is truly an amazing surgeon. My husband had a grade 2 ependymoma and he resected the tumor completely after 13 long hours of surgery. He saved my husbands life!
