John B. Hagan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hagen really did nothing for me except order a multitude of tests that had nothing to do with my allergies. He first diagnosed me with nonallergic rhinosinustis being totally surprised when I reacted to approximately 30 skin pricks. He made a lot of assumptions that were not true. Would I recommend him? No.

Complete lack of compassion and respect toward the patient along with inappropriate and condescending conversations and follow-up notes.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hagan. He is knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and kind. He explained everything really clearly and even called me to review the results and answer any questions I had. Everyone at the clinic was super helpful and caring. I highly recommend!

After treatment from numerous specialists I found Dr. Hagen to be a very thorough and knowledgeable physician. He is a patient listener and a straightforward diagnostician. I was very pleased with his recommendations and council with regard to possible testing and return visits. I would not hesitate to suggest his care for those with chronic cough.

Very good and would recommend Dr. Hagan to anyone. We have been to five states and dozens of Dr.s to find no one has an idea what is wrong and all agree time is short. We gave Dr. Hagan a thick pile of test results. He skimmed them and retained all the information. He cite information by page and source as he worked with my daughter. Quick to retain information and not in a hurry to conclude. With great focus and humor he scheduled many people to work with us.He called us at our home on a Friday night to report test results and to apologize for the schedule going out over several months. By Monday morning he had a new compressed schedule of Dr.s for us to see the next day. He was able to provide insight for aspects related to his area and is very interested in helping us. I have not had a good experience at Mayo before and we only went there because we are so lost what to do. Dr. Hagan was such a positive surprise. I mean, how much more can a person do? He is so on top of this

We went to Dr. Hagan not so much for a diagnosis, but for direction in finding one. Very nice man. We have been to a dozen or so doctors in five states trying to learn what is happening to our daughter. All have said they have never seen anything like what she has and we have short time to find out. Dr. Hagan was very kind, thoughtful, and worked with my daughter. Some of her issues go beyond his field of practice. He very quickly read through many many pages of tests and he retained everything from his skimming. he referred to pages by name and number and reordered what we gave him into a sequence useful to his discussion. Very quick at taking in information and not in a hurry to conclude. He set up a schedule for seeing people he felt could help. He called us at our home on a Friday night to report test results and apologized for the schedule going out so for on the calendar. By Monday he had a new schedule compacting many Dr.s in a few days. He really is interested in helping us find an answer. I was very impressed with is humor and focus at same time and his quick grasp of data from so many sources. Before seeing Dr. Hagan, I was not really expecting much from Mayo. I have had so few positive experiences there in the past. But we went because we are so lost. Dr. Hagan was a very nice surprise. I would recommend him to anyone.

Probably the most condesending doctor I've ever met. I am appalled that the Mayo Clinic has him on staff. He was very rude, but wore a fake smile. He had no understanding or empathy at all. Must be a good ole boy- as he is sure not a caring one.

Very condescending is an understatement. He has the worst attitude of any doctor I have ever seen. He seems like a southern gentleman until he speaks. He should have been disciplined by Mayo long ago for his attitude. He does not listen and to me that is very, very dangerous for the patient.I went elsewhere and got my answers and was treated with professional respect. I could not go back to him due to his disrespectful manner.

Treated me in a condescending manner as well. Kept me waiting for three hours. Not helpful with my chronic allergy problems.
