John H. Davidson's Online Review Report Card

Dr Davidson could not have been more thorough. I have a complicated set of issues with my heart and blood. Dr. Davidson took time to discuss my issues and set up the appropriate tests and procedures. He has followed up with me and is always detailed and compassionate.

Dr. Davidson was the lead physician on our recent trip to the Mayo Clinic. My husband has a medical condition that has been difficult to diagnose. Dr. Davidson was extremely thorough in his examination and seemed very concerned and helpful. He spent a great deal of time with us asking detailed questions. I have a tendency to ask many questions myself. He could not have been more patient and complete in his answers. We found him caring, charming, and quite brilliant. We left feeling we had made a valuable connection and are on a path to getting the help we have been searching for. We will be working with him in the future. Dr. Davidison far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him.

He cares. If you treat him with respect you will receive the same. Pretty good rule for most people I encounter.

I felt humiliated by this person. I went to see Mr.Davidson for pain related to a recent surgery. My mother attended as well since I cannot drive in this condition. From the onset, my mother attempted to ask a question and was cut off in a condescending manner. He said I'm a big boy and can speak for myself. Yeah. I ask him if he has had time to look over my chart which he replied yes. After a few minutes of discussing my pain it became very clear he did not have a clue of what I was dealing with and past history. Then come questions. Of course you should ask things like how the pain has affected your life or mobility but no. He decided it was important to ask my mother what her biggest failure was as a parent. Follow that up with my biggest regrets and what this has taken from me. Broke down for the first time explaining how I've lost so much becuase of this. His reply: "well, if you're really in that much pain, just go to the hospital." This man does the medical world a disservice

I had the absolute worst experience with a doctor in my life during my time at the clinic. Dr John Davidson was rude and careless to my concerns. When he walked into the room it was prominent he was not interested in my case. I did not get as much as a hello or how are you. He told me I was to healthy to be concerned of my issues and laughed at me when I said my accomplishments in life are what I am most proud of. When his horrible attitude and rudeness got to me I broke down and was crying to the point I could not form words, and to this he got irritated with me and said "why are you crying right now." When my mom mentioned it was due to the way he was presenting himself he told is he wasn't going to "sugar coat" my expectations and told me my high expectations would not be met during my visit. He also refused to listen to more than my "top 3" concerns and told me he did not want to hear of any other issues than my supposed top 3 issues. He was horribly arrogant and rude.

Sanctimonious in presentation and limited diagnostic abilities. One week with him as my Care Team Leader left me with no answers and several thousands of dollars in medical bills.

My experience was awful. He made me feel like a problem, didn’t listen to me and was condescending. He ordered the wrong lab work and was not helpful. I’m an intelligent, independent women. I hope that wasn’t the reason for his poor behavior.

I met with Doctor Davidson as part of my executive health visit recently. During our visit it became clear to me that Mr. Davidson has a little bit of a god complex. During our meeting he spoke very condescendingly and when I attempted to show him something from my chart that called for follow up, he dismissed it in a condescending way. I just hope those nodes on my lungs are benign because another Mayo doctor asked for follow up 2 years ago.

Doctor Davidson has a very dry wit, which is something I ready appreciated. I've seen him several times and he has given me al the time I needed, answered all my questions, and made some wonderful suggestions to get me back on the road to recovery. He's very knowledgeable and really understand and cares. Top notch physician. I'm truly happy to have him as my internist.
