Thank god for other doctors at Mayo, or I would've written off the entire place. Dr Hammack makes snap judgements and blames mental issues for actual medical problems when she can't figure out what's wrong within the first 5 minutes. Thanks for the careless misdiagnosis, Dr Hammack. It's a good thing other doctors actually listened to my issues. I'm contacting the board to make a formal complaint.

Rude, doesn't listen, makes instant judgements without full understanding. Constantly interrupts and does not seem to have any regard for other doctors. Just overall abrasive and dismissive.

This amazing life saving Dr. Was there after my 21st bday to deliver the news that I needed emergency brain surgery for a pxa tumor.. less then a yearlyear she had to tell me it came back. And needed another surgery/ resection followed by chemo and radio therapy. I had some very great Dr.'s .she and her team saved my life and I've been in remission for five+years. I never had a chance to hug her and say thank you . She is an angel. You could not ask for a better doctor to trust ur life with. Thank you Dr.! Take care! - Eric

This physician is too quick to make assumptions with out ordering medical tests Then if she orders a test she predicts the out outcome of it before you actually complete it. She’s too quick to interrupt you when your explaining your symptoms. And if she can’t figure out what’s wrong with you before running proper tests she assumes you have a mental issue. She’s very unprofessional I highly don’t recommend her. She’s very sloppy in investigating your underlying issues.

Meeting with Dr. Hammack was an extraordinary experience. She was very sweet, friendly. She listened to me with lots of patience and understood the whole situation very carefully. I loved her way of talking and approached my case. She made me feel I matter to her, she cares about me, and she was happy to help me. At one point she said "If you were my daughter I would suggest you go with this not that" Which made me very emotional and that clearly shows that patients are important for her and she loves to help them. Most importantly she has a passion for her profession with a big heart which is a rare combination. I love love love her.

I use to call Dr. Hammack as power house, Not sure where she gets all that positive energy from. IF you happened to meet her 50% your disease will be gone by just talking with her. She is one the best Neurologist and real expertise. She is very thorough and down to earth. Thanks Hammack for your consultation and recommendation to Fredric B. Meyer. I appreciate it.

Dr. Hammack is very kind and caring. She explains things in laymans terms. She answers all of my questions. She listens without interruptions. She is a trusted Provider. I would recommend her to my family and friends.

Dr Hammack is very knowledgeable in all areas and how they may affect your neurological condition. She listens to your concerns and is very adept in translating what she hears and observes in a complete assetment of your condition. I trust her suggestions and always feel when I leave her office that she understands and cares that I will receive the best care that can be offered for me. She is an outstanding doctor. I am grateful to have her as my doctor. It can be difficult to get an appointment because she is very busy.

Dr. Hammack is one of the most impressive physicians I have ever been treated by. Her professionalism, bedside manner, follow up and credentials are all equally impressive. She is very thorough in her follow ups between visits when I have MRI's sent from out of town for her to review as part of my long term care and her turnaround time is truly amazing. I could not recommend Dr. Hammack any higher.

I had seen other neurologist and Dr. Hammack was far above all of the others. She is able to give you a complete picture of what you are dealing with. She is very knowledgable and can relate symptoms right away to there causes. She is compassionate and she does not leave one stone unturned in finding a solution to your medical problems. She is the best.I trust her advice and expertise. She is the best doctor I have seen. I would recommend her to anyone that I care about and know that they would be well taken care of.She is very busy however and it is difficult to get an appointment to see her.
