List of Lisa A. Drage's Reviews
Not a very good experience. She gave me the least thorough exam I’ve ever had. Expected more from this doctor.
I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Drage for an ongoing duration when I was a child. She was always caring and had my best interest in mind. My Mom and I really liked her. She always took a lot of time with me and was willing to try different treatments if one did not work.
I agree with the two other Google reviews in that she is not very much interested for an excellent outcome of her patients. Based upon my experience, she is not professional at all in what she does. Her bedside manner is blunt and I was unable to build confidence in her; either during or after the encounter. I would not recommend this doctor.
Very kind, knowledgeable, empathetic and sympathetic doctor. I’ve seen her multiple times and she is consistently this way. I highly recommend her.
If I could give no stars, I would. Out of all the doctors I seen at Mayo Clinic, she was the only one I regretted wasting my time and money on. She spent as minimal time with me as possible. Never wanted to know anything of my past. Her direct comment to me was, l”I can only evaluate now”. She cared nothing about my history with skin issues. My skin issues have been of 30+ years , and her response was “Covid” was making me have skin problems. I do not recommend her to anyone and actually shocked Mayo Clinic had a doctor like this.
Dr. Drage was condescending, and didn’t listen to me or properly review my symptoms. I saw many specialists (both locally and while at the Mayo Clinic) who disagreed with the opinion she gave me during her extremely brief exam, so I was ultimately given the correct diagnosis, care, and treatment I need, in spite of her. I highly suggest avoiding Dr. Drage. My experience with her was terrible, and if she had been the only doctor I’d seen, I wouldn’t have gotten the answers or medication I needed.
I had an unpleasant encounter with her. She was not professional and I could not build in confidence in her decision making. She did not show any sign of patient advocacy and ownership. Based on my experience, I do not think she is a knowledgeable and a trustworthy physician. There are lots of things to improve. No, I do not recommend this doctor.
I had an unpleasant encounter with this doctor. She did not show any signs of patient ownership and she just was not professional. I almost felt like I was an inconvenience for her during and after my encounter. My appointment was not rushed or anything of that nature but I was never able to build in confidence in her since she was not genuinely interested in my condition and she is someone with a limited set of knowledge with not much room left to improve. No, I do not recommmend her.
Based on my experience, I would not lose time with her and just move onto the next step. Absolutely, a bad bad experience both during and following the encounter. No- I am not recommending this doctor.
She should not be a dr at the mayo clinic. She didn't listen to me or address my issues. She didn't build any confidence with me in her ability to help me. She never read my chart and kept trying to check me for skin cancer even though that's not what I was there for. She pushed me off on other drs even though i told her i had already seen them, she really doesn't care about the patients that come through her office. She kept telling me she was just a dermatologist like that was an excuse for her incompetence. Request someone else and don't waste your time ormoney on her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
