My experience with Dr. Davis' dermatology dept. was astonishly disappointing. Combination of issues involved (no examination, requestS for base-level testing denied, requests to read my other doctor's diagnosis, tests, and treatments notes denied). In my book, 3-Strikes on one appointment and you are out.
No care or follow up. Seems to be knowledgeable but extremely dismissive and no bedside manner at all. Offered no treatment plan despite making a severe diagnosis. I do not recommend for ongoing care.
Left with a confirmation of a diagnosis and no treatment plan. Davis does not care about his patients. More interested in research. Handed me a folder of his research and sent me on my way back home. No follow up at all. Refused to answer my questions.
Arrogant, without ever seeing me before,he acted as he had me figured out.His diagnosis was incorrect,I am now getting treatment with Drs. who actually read my medical file, and did not make assumptions .A little worm of a man in my opinion.
I've seen this dermatologist since 2001 for my psoriasis. He knows his stuff and has techniques and meds other derms know NOTHING about. I fly to see him. He's hospitalized me twice for my psoriasis. He is not warm and fuzzy...he doesn't need to be...he fixes me.
Excellent physician

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
