Not possible to find a better person to explain treatment, complications and expectations of recovery. Excellent communicator and caring provider.
I owe my life to Dr. Lacy, Dr. Grogan, and the whole Mayo Rochester team.
So helpful in discussing my info and explaining what comes next. She is brilliant and kind. I have never had better care.
Dr Lacy was very informative, did not rush us, Answered all of our questions ( and we had a lot) Discussed many options on fighting multiple Myeloma disease, didn’t write off the disease, But gave us hope with options we discussed! Excellent communication skills, our other Doctors Have kind of kept us in the dark, she lighted our path on NSMM, and we now understand why Blood tests showed no change & why chemo Wasn’t helping!
Dr Lacy is at the very top of her field, but is warm, approachable and kind. She doesn't sugar coat difficult issues, but breaks them down in a way that makes next steps understandable and manageable. Our previous oncologist told us less in two years than we learned from Dr Lacy in our first appointment. The efficiency and teamwork at Mayo is incredible - it seems like every hospital and clinic touts working as a team, but at Mayo it really happens. My partner has a cancer that is not curable, but we are confident that we are receiving the best possible care from the best in the field.
Awesome doctor!
Dr Lacey is extremely knowledgeable and actually sat down with us and looked up things in her medical books. This was much more impressive to me than someone 'infalable' who just thinks they know and remember it all. We went to her for a 2nd opinion and she gave us great information, was very caring and professional and we wish she were our #1 doctor. I would refer everyone with blood disorders or multiple myeloma to her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
