List of Matthew R. Thomas's Reviews
Dr. Matthews doesn’t seem to take patients seriously and doesn’t seem very caring at all like all the other doctors I’ve seen. I requested him to look at something that had been concerning and after waiting months for an appointment and he wasn’t interested. He also laughed at my ‘odd’ symptoms before other doctors finally verified my illness. Honest heartfelt advice, just choose a different doctor. I sure wish I had.
Dr. Thomas takes each patient concern seriously and addresses them appropriately. He explains his rationale for a recommended plan of care and adjusts the plan if needed. In addition, he's very personable. Highly recommended.
Seen him for severe cough. I read in his clinical note he had it as 'mild cough'. Had to wait for good 45 minutes after checkin. I had a recent injury that is healed. Thought he will take a look at it to see how I am healing. He was not interested.
Not very helpful or understanding. Made an assumption based on a relied phone call through a receptionist without any knowledge to my case. The request that was asked of him was a 1 minute request (signing a written prescription by a resident) and he complained that he had 72 hours to complete this task when medication was needed today.
Dr. Thomas has been been my primary care MD for 12 years or better and has always been helpful in getting to the bottom of the condition or finding someone that could in various specialties. He is a class act and I would recomend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and considerate doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
