I’m sure he is great but I found his physicist, his nurse and even Dr Link very unfriendly and perfunctory. In the gamma room no one even turned to say hi. No sure I’d go back. Nurses in pre op were super. I didn’t even learn how the procedure went. Dr Link just walked out of room and that was that. Maybe it was the early hour. They did change my date to earlier because I am moving but didn’t get much reaction to my gratitude for that.

Dr. Link is an extraordinary neurosurgeon, an absolute rockstar in his field, and overall the most genuine and honest neurosurgeon I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot)! Would absolutely recommend him and the Mayo Clinic staff. I’m three weeks out from a very complicated tumor removal, and I have next to no deficits and I’m walking and talking and even driving again since my surgery! He’s passing his knowledge down to other talented neurosurgeons to keep his legacy and talent in the pipeline, and I’m so grateful for that. Definitely meet with Dr. Link and his team if you’re in need of brain surgery, I’m so grateful that I did :)

Craniectomy for 2 meningiomas, using lining from upper leg muscle to cover where the bone was removed. Amazing neurosurgeon, amazing surgical team, hospital and medical facility hands down. Dr. Link and his team are very professional and excellent at what they do. I would highly recommend.

Truly the best of the best! Dr. Link explained my husband’s condition with great detail in a way that we could understand and gave us hope. We were beyond confident in his ability and traveled from Philadelphia for surgery. He accurately projected realistic post-operative expectations -- all of which were right on the mark -- performed a highly complex procedure flawlessly, and followed up routinely to check on progress. The level of care for his patients is absolutely unmatched! Grateful to have had him as a surgeon!

Dr. Link is a fabulously competent and confident neurosurgeon. We first met him as a gamma knife surgeon 9 years ago. With that kind of surgery, the "proof" that it worked is that the tumor has not recurred🤗 With the current "hands-on" surgery, he was very honest about a 50-50 chance of needing rehab. My husband is doing rehab, but in some ways is already better. We are looking forward to going home and resuming a more "normal" life. Dr. Link and his team take their Hippocratic oath very seriously. Feel confident that you are in great hands 👐

I have seen Dr. Link twice for my acoustic neuroma. He is outstanding! He provided me with all of the information about my condition and the treatment options I needed to make a decision. He treated me with respect and addressed all of the questions I had. I highly recommend him to anyone needing neurosurgical care.

Dr. Link operated on me in Oct 2015 fir Geniculate Neuralgia. I found him to be thorough, enthusiastic, personable, patient, caring, highly skilled. His excellent skill gave me back a full life. He is my hero!
