After years of searching for corrective help in my home state, Dr. Taunton took a chance on me. He found not only was my knee replacement an issue, but my hips had been damaged due to years of walking poorly. I could hardly walk any more and was in constant pain. He replace both hips and my knee. I have my life back because of his dedicated work. I am forever grateful. This is a doctor you can trust.

I was referred to Dr Taunton by another Doctor, with a infected left revision knee. The knee was infected for 8 years. He and his team tried very hard to fix me. I was on antibiotics to keep infection at bay. He was going to do a revision knee after trying to get rid of infection. He remove infected knee and put antibiotic spacer in. But the infection had eaten up all the tissue and would not heal. I was in a lot of pain and I decided for amputation. All along he was very up front on my odds.He spent a lot of time on me .Dr T and his team were fantastic. I will use his services again. He is a great Dr

Dr Taunton did a hip replacement on me and lengthened such that I had poor gait, pain and deformity. He refused to fix his mistake and I was forced to seek care at another institution to get it fixed urgently.

Did a direct anterior hip replacement and lengthened my right leg. Leg length discrepancy caused poor gait, deformity and pain. He would not correct his error and I had to seek a provider to do an urgent revision surgery.

Dr Taunton did a hip replacement on me and lengthened such that I had poor gait, pain and deformity. He refused to fix his mistake and I was forced to seek care at another institution to get it fixed urgently.

Dr Taunton successfully did my left hip replacement earlier this year and my left knee replacement on October 26, 2021. I highly recommend him and have found him to do exceptional surgery with fantastic results. I cannot thank him enough for the ease of pain these two operations provided this 77 year old man.

I had a knee replacement and when I woke up from surgery I found out he had fractured my tibia and told me it would heal in 4-6 weeks. It has now been 6 months and has not healed, I have suffered terribly from this surgery and his staff treated me like I was a drug addict. I regret coming to Mayo and having this surgery, as now I still have another 3 -6 months of healing from the fracture in my tibia.

Dr Taunton and his staff are the best. They have replaced my left hip joint and both knees. I am 74 and get around like I was 60. I highly recommend him.
