July 2022 I had double nephrectomy with kidney transplant by Dr Prieto. All my appointments, surgery and after care we’re never rushed and he answered all my questions every time (I had a lot). Dr Prieto did an excellent job on my surgery. I would do it all over again if I had too. 5 stars all the way!!

Dr Prieto did my kidney transplant in 2004 and my kidney is still going strong. He's very intelligent and a nice man also. Great surgeon.

This man is my saint! Dr. Prieto is without a doubt, the most amazing MD that I have ever met. His work is phenomenal. He is a pioneer in his transplant procedures with living donor transplant, double nephrectomy for PKD patients by laparoscopic AT TIME of transplant, 1 surgery and your done. He truly is a very humble man, so pleasant to talk to and he truly cares about the patient. To add, he works at the #1 medical facility in the world, Mayo Clinic!

I can not comprehend how ANYONE would not give this man a 10 star rating , if available. This man is a pioneer with the expertise of kidney transplant, double nephrectomy by laparoscopic AT time of transplant. 1 surgery and that is it. He truly is amazing. He is such a pleasant man, so easy to speak with, a very humble man but most of all he truly cares about you, the patient. Lastly, he works for the #1 medical facility in the world. Mayo!

phenomenal!!!!!! excellent manner, made me feel at ease with complete trust, on top of everything. I had bilateral nephrectomy, hernia repair, kidney implant and intestinal blockage in 2016, having never been to Mayo Clinic before I had no idea who would be performing these surgeries. I could not have asked for a better surgeon, caregiver and friend!!!!! Worth his weight in GOLD!!!

Dr Prieto saved my daughter's life. She suffered from LPHS and every one tried to tell her it was all in her head. He performed an auto kidney transplant and stopped the horrible, disabling pain she had suffered for months.
