Dr. Tran was exceptional! I was so grateful for his very professional bedside manner and kindness (he gets to the point). I've been Doctoring at Mayo since 2016 when I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer at 40 years old. I have had many doctors and so many procedures and operations to count. My most recent was a hysterectomy and a panniculectomy. After reading that womens review, I felt bad. But I felt it was the complete opposite of my experience with him! I'm born and raised small town North Dakota Lady. I know bad experiences with doctors. He doesn't beat around the bush and gets to the point. I would highly recommend him a thousand times over. I feel blessed with his skills and years of experience. 🙌

Terrible visit. This Doctor should retire. Went in for a consult about explant and BII related symptoms. This Dr does not recognize BII as an illness even though FDA states this illness has to be disclosed to patients as a risk prior to getting implants placed. He pretty much told my mom that her symptoms were because she is old and not from her 40 year old double ruptured implants. During her visit, he was trying to joke around and say he doesn’t know how it feels to have implants because he doesn’t have any anywhere. While saying this he grabbed his pectoral muscles and then proceeded to grab his genital area and laugh. We were so disturbed by this. He was sitting in a room with three women, one being the patient. Not sure his nurse saw his actions, but the resident that was in the room with him did and he also looked appalled. I expected so much more professionalism from a doctor at mayo clinic in Rochester.

Grabbed his chest and genital area(during a new patient visit) while referring to the fact that he doesn’t have implants of any kind so he can’t relate to how they may make you feel. So shockingly unprofessional! Expected so much more from a doctor at Mayo Clinic.

Doctor Tran has performed a gracilis graft muscle surgery. Going into surgery, was anxious over recovery and how leg will function and look like. Dr Tran has taken the time to explain the procedure and how to best prepare and recover. With recommended diet and exercise, 2 months later leg was fully functional, scars are minimal, almost invisible to my surprise given the 10 inch muscle being harvested from my leg. Incredible compassionate and experienced doctor. He is a true reflection of what Mayo stands for trust, compassion, excellence in service and being there every step of the way to reassure you that he will do everything possible for your care and wellbeing.

Excellent. My daughter walked in a beautiful young woman. Post surgery, she is a very beautiful young woman who can breathe. She needed fairly extensive internal work and did also require some external changes to her nostrils. He did amazing work. She can breathe normally now and the nose looks like she was born with it.

Dr. Tran performed gynecomastia surgery on me using a combination of a cartilage shaver and liposuction. My results were excellent. All of the mayo clinic staff were great. Recovery was rough for a few days, but I was well informed on how to deal with it. Dr. Tran was very pleasant and I believe that he was a key player in getting my insurance company to pay for the procedure, which they normally wouldn't cover.

Dr. Tran did my facelift. I let him know I was not satisfied with the result but he had no solution only excuses. I consulted another plastic surgeon who agreed with my assessment and offered a common solution which was, apparently, unknown to Dr. Tran. My advice, if you want a cosmetic facial procedure, is to have it done by someone who specializes in that type of plastic surgery.

Horrible.

I want to say Dr. Tran is absolutely outstanding. His work for me was perfection. I researched who I wanted to work on my face. Hey it's a BIG decision and I am so happy I chose Dr. Tran. I would recommend Dr. Tran in a heartbeat. Judy Magy
