I must say Dr. Huddleston one of the most fantastic caring compassionate understanding and wanting to do the right thing doctors I have ever seen he listens to you he cares about you you’re his family you’re everything you want and a human being that is a doctor that knows what he is doing and knows how to rectify the situation without doing any harm I applied to Dr. Houston for your caring your compassion your sincerity your devotion. I honestly sincerely wish it was more doctors like you in the world you’re my one hole for getting rid of this horrible back problem I have for the last several years It has been so debilitating. I have been in so much horrible pain every day for several years and no doctor and Iowa even pinpoint situation maybe one or two might have but I wanted to go to the best and the best is Dr. Huddleston at Mayo Clinic. I honestly can’t wait to have you text me so I can enjoy whatever life I have left it’s been a nightmare since I had Dr in Cedar Rapids Iowa his name is Hill actor Gregory Hill Erase the one out of five or maybe a one and a half he has no personality no compassion for us clients I totally disrespectful to your feelings and your opinions but not Dr. Huddleston a total 360 Huddleston is the best And I can’t wait for my next appointment to schedule my surgery to start enjoying my life again. Outstanding surgeon and excellent, caring communicator and educator. Dr. Huddleston went above and beyond to ensure that all the care needed for our family’s complicated medical situations was secured. Another fusion was avoided because of his incredible knowledge of spines. Surgery was very successful. Back pain was gone immediately upon waking from anesthesia. There are countless good reasons why Dr. Huddleston is know as Dr. Spine!

After having a 2 disc fusion in 2005 and nothing but pain afterwards. It was difficult doing all kinds of therapy, doctors throwing meds at me, doctors not believing what I was saying. Finally a doctor listened to me, asked lots of questions and sent me to the pain clinic at Mayo in Rochester. After working with Dr. Hagedorn with my lower back he sent me to Dr. Huddleston. I know he was on the fence of removing the hardware but I knew it needed to be done. Between him and Dr. Matrka they certainly worked as a dynamic team duo even during an infection. And having to endure yet another back surgery to clean it out! I owe so much to these doctors who got me to where I am now! Thank You!!!

He is one of 5 Ortho surgeons who operated after traumatic injury.....he is compassionate and took time for lengthy explanations.Definitely 5star.

He single-handedly changed my life. He is the first surgeon that believed my pain was real. I've had two failed spinal surgeries and he performed my spinal fusion one year ago. This is the best I've felt in 5 years because of him. He truly isn't your typical doctor. Appointments don't feel rushed and he fully listens to what you have to say. Dr. Huddleston made it clear that he was on my team and would do everything possible to improve my quality of life.

Dr. Huddleston is very down to earth and easy to understand in layman's terms if needed. His overall caring and concern goes above and beyond. Very personal, respectful of patients and of his team.

Dr. Huddleston is a amazing Dr. Who truly cares and believes in his patients. I have had 2 surgeries by him and wouldn't let any one else touch my back. Amazing man
