He was absolutely amazing with my son in 2019, I found out upon returning to Mayo in 2021 that he is working in the Middle East. Honestly, if I had the funding, I would follow him there for my sons care.

Right when he took his first step in the room, he was nothing but kind, compassion and warm hearted! He came in with a HUGE smile and had an incredible sense of humor! He spent nearly 2 hours with me! He took the time to not only get to know my illness, but me as an individual. He taught me so much! He taught me that I am not my illness! He provided incredible feedback! He was so gentle when doing the exam, he respected me and my body. He addressed each and very single issue so carefully, he took the time to understand each and every single symptom. He listened, he didn’t rush, he took his time and cared. I couldn’t be more thankful:) I was scared about going to Mayo but he took away that fear:)

Dr. Fischer is a smart, kind, experienced and compassionate doctor. I cannot say enough about how great he is.

I would leave a zero for Dr. Fischer, if I could. He was arrogant, condescending, dismissive, and left my teenage daughter and I both feeling uneasy. He treated her like a hypochondriac/complaining teen. I had to pressure him into a specialist referral. We have since learned many things about her condition and that Dr. Fischer was totally off-base and wrong.

Dr. Fischer is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I have been dealing with a medical condition for 7 years and before I saw him I was just down and out but the moment I came in to see him he honestly brightened my day and helped me feel better about my condition!!! He makes you laugh and feel right at home!!! I wish he lived closer to my house cuz he is so much fun and so intelligent!!! I would recommend him to anyone if you're debating whether or not to go just go you will not be disappointed!!!!

We wish Maryland had a Dr. Fischer! He is friendly, caring, and helped our son feel better when Johns Hopkins couldn't help. He also replies to our emails when we have questions about our son's condition.

Dr. Fischer doesn't spend anytime with the patient. He entrusts his patients in a incompetent Nurse Practitioner. Our stay at Mayo was a waste of precious time and money. I wouldn't recommend Mayo for a treatment plan for POTS!
