List of Robert F. Rea's Reviews
Not the friendliest or most informative, had to pull info out of him. Awkward meeting. I got the impression he wasn’t happy giving me a second opinion, but he did answer all the questions I had prepared. So… he may be a good doctor, but I’m not sure I’d be real comfortable seeking care from him because he is difficult to communicate with.
I have been a patient of Doctor Rea for many years and have always requested his advice on the many heart issues I have had. He is so trustworthy, knowledgeable, explains my condition and is a great doctor. He really does care about his patients . I am always happy if I can see him. Doctor Rea is a top doctor.
Very nice man, took the time to listen to me...going back for surgery.
Exellent care from first appointment -discharge. Explaned and anwsered questions until everyone was completly satisfied. I would recomend Dr Rea and the Mayo complex to everyone.
This Dr. is on the Mayo Clinic roster, yet when I called his appt desk, HE himself called me back. I told him it was important that I see him soon because I had a test scheduled at another clinic and that clinic insisted I get my heart checked first in 3 weeks. Dr. Rea not only pulled strings to get me seen at Mayo Clinic in time, but when he found that I had Supraventricular Tachycardia, scheduled me to have surgery withine 3 days of my appts. He is down to earth and very pleasant. He did not rush me through our visits and even took time for 'small talk' with my husband and I. I felt very secure in his hands. The Mayo Clinic experience prior to this was BAD but when I went to see him, he changed my prospective on this. He treated me, as well as my son, with respect and dignity and I HIGHLY recommend him. He has not lost the caring mentality that most Drs have now days and I commend him for that. He is a specialist and has many patients but takes time for each one.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
