Dr. Shepherd even took the time to send a message after 7:30 pm after we got home to make suggestions/recommendations. I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd. Dr. Shepherd is one of the most dedicated, caring, and compassionate doctors I have ever dealt with. He takes the time to thoroughly explain everything. We just received a message from him after 7:30 pm on a Friday night explaining his recommendations / suggestions. I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd to anyone in need of his services. It's nice to deal such an excellent doctor.

The Dr gave me all the time I needed, explained everything including all testing. He made a point of making sure I didn’t have any questions and understood everything. He order tests I requested and was just one of the best Drs I have ever seen. Very kind natures and highly intelligent, but most of all he listens to patients and doesn’t dismiss anything.

I can't believe this doctor is still practicing. The most incompetent human I've ever encountered. Chalks everything up to anxiety when he can't find a black and white answer to what's going on. In reviewing his reports from my visit at Mayo I've found several lies that he wrote to support whatever he was thinking at the time but completely untrue. Even lied about another doctor's report which can easily be disputed. This guy is a disgrace to the medical community and truly does not care about the patient...his only concern is covering his own butt. Shame on you Mayo Clinic for keeping him on staff. For that reason alone I would never return.

Dr. Shepherd is by far the most rude, dismissive doctor you will ever go to. He asks you offensive questions like are you on cocoaine. Which I have never done drugs in my entire life. He will write down you are malnourished if you are thin. He jumps conclusions and completely diagnosis incorrectly. If you are below 50 I would not see this doctor. He talks as fast as he can, barely looks at you, and doesnt listen to anything you say at all. Please be careful and weary of him.

Dr. Shepherd did a wonderful and thorough job on examination to see why my Ulnar Artery arteries were not functioning in either hand and what to do for the Raynaud's. Dr Shepherd is the best doctor who has ever treated me. And I have seen plenty. He is extremely smart, thoughtful, knowledgeable, competent. Takes enormous time to fully explain things. Extremely thorough. Kind, patient, caring man. Why anyone would ever consider assigning anything less than a 5+ in anything is beyond me. Absolutely the best.
