By applying a Socratic method of precision questioning, Dr. Kalra explored the ambiguity of my symptoms, as well as my perceptions and memory, which were not always concurrent or consistent. As our conversation evolved, we went beyond symptoms in my lungs and left eye to a broader impact, possibly affecting my heart and brain. Bedside manner not so great, but that’s not why I need him. I believe he looks at the whole patient, not just the pulmonary, and offers an alternative perspective inclusive of all disciplines.

Very egotistical man, speaks negatively of other doctors, rude and doesn't listen.

He is an incredibly insensitive and cruel doctor. Not the worst I've even experienced, but right up there. It was a totally dehumanizing and demoralizing experience. His style is yelling and intimidation and by his own admittance- flippant!
