After experiencing post-vasectomy pain syndrome, I explored medication treatments but found no relief. Despite being an out-of-state patient, I decided to consult Dr. Helo. During the online video session, she explained all the available options. We concluded that a reversal surgery was the best course of action. I made the trip to see her in person, and the surgery performed by Dr. Helo and her team was nothing short of excellent. Dr. Helo remained respectful and responsive to all my questions and concerns. The Mayo online system provided me with detailed information about the procedure, medical records, and messaging, which were incredibly helpful and convenient. Although I did encounter some billing issues initially, I'm thankful that they were eventually resolved. In conclusion, I am immensely grateful to Dr. Helo and her team for their expertise and the successful outcome of the surgery. Her attentive care and professionalism made the entire experience much smoother.

After having a failed surgery with another doctor I chose to fly out to see Dr Helo. Was a great experience. I was treated well, and with respect. They had to deal with a lot of scarring and a mess left by the first surgery. Back home I was told that there was a fair chance I would lose testicle if I had another surgery- this was not the case with Dr Helo and her team. Went home with both testicles intact and no regrets.

Dr Helo and her team were very professional. They made the procedure and the whole experience comfortable. Everything went according to plan and now we have a beautiful baby boy added to our family. Thank you so much Dr. Helo and team!

Being an older patient, I really didn’t expect the results that we have enjoyed with our new baby son. Dr. Helo pulled off what I didn’t think was possible. And for a procedure to be as uncomfortable as this, her and her team did everything to make me feel as comfortable as could be. Her and her team were also very responsive post-procedure.

Great bedside manner, helped me all the way through a very very nervous time for me...consult, pre op and the procedure. Easy to talk to. Answered all questions and we had many. My wife liked her knowledgeable answers and personality and I liked how concerned she was for my comfort. Punctual...no waiting. Answered many questions we had in the portal app after the surgery. 2nd reversal. 1st one was a success from her with a baby and we were going to try one more time.

Dr Helo was more than caring throughout our consultation prep, the surgery itself, and the many many follow up questions afterward. Very caring, both her and her staff. I have a very bad anxiety issue with doctors and she took the time to make sure everything was as comfortable as I could be.

My Dad was dealing with ongoing urinary track infections, extreme pain and continuing antibiotics for treatment. Born at home in 1941 no circumcision was done. A circumcision was recommended and performed. Dr. Helo did the procedure in office as his health concerns at 81 did not make him a good candidate for total anesthesia. My Dad was treated with utmost professionalism and treated him with dignity and respect. He was very nervous. He came out of the procedure so happy with how he was treated. 6 weeks after the procedure he is all healed and is beyond pleased with his results. No more pain urinating. No more antibiotics, etc. He is so relieved and says he wishes he would have had the procedure years ago.

I went went in the room and was seen by another person. After the checkup the person went to Dr. Helo about their findings. Dr. Helo came in focused on one thing. Didn't fix problem I had nor talked on it. Didn't fix problem she focused on either. So I'm still at square one.

After some other doc told me my sperm were gone, I reached Dr Helo for second opinion. She is really patient and believes I'm still very promising to have. Her suggestion really give us lot confident and comfort. And it turns out she is correct, I ended have a lot sperm with a small procedure.

7 years after having a vasectomy we had a change of heart and decided we wanted a child after all. Our situation was a little complicated, since we now live in Europe but wanted to get the operation done in the US. Dr. Helo was willing to work with us, even with the difficulties of being remote. We met online several times, she advised us on the tests we'd need to get done here in Europe, and then finally when we were back in the US she did a great job on the surgery. Her follow up care was great, too. At first our post-op results weren't looking great, but she met with us online several times after the surgery, coached us on what we could do in order to improve our chances of conception, and gave us encouragement that hope wasn't lost. It finally worked and we just welcomed our little girl into the world.
