Stephen D. Cassivi's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Cassivi is a world class surgeon who was able to resect my dad's Stage 3 lung cancer when our regional thoracic surgeon could not. He is an extremely skilled professional. He helped not only my dad physically, but the entire family mentally and emotionally. Getting set up with the Mayo Clinic was a very fast-moving and convenient process. I cannot recommend Dr. Cassivi enough.

Dr Cassivi. Is a talented surgeon. He fixed my hiatial hernia and saw me through cancer. I have great faith in him. He is a good communicator and his team do a fine job.

I had a positive first impression, but was very disappointed when Dr. Cassivi failed to follow up with me despite leaving multiple messages for him.

I have had many medical issues and been in many Hospitals across the U.S. always trying to seek out the best possible care. Without doubt Dr. Cassivi ranks right at the top. Highly competent, truly caring and concerned about staying in touch after the surgery has been completed. I personally feel that he is one of the best Surgeons in the Country. I wish that we had more Doctors like him.

World class , skilled , compassionate & professional thoracic surgeoen. He quickly came up with a plan, removed the cancer tumor from my chest. He kept us informed at every turn, answered our questions and treated us with respect. I felt like we were in the best facility & getting the best care possible in the world. Dr. Cassivi exemplifies what every physician should strive for. He is caring, compassionate, and outstanding in his field. He has gone over and beyond again and again to make sure that I receive the best care that Mayo has to offer, even though my problems had nothing to do with thoracic surgery.
