Immediately felt judged. I am the perfect example of a patient that when looking at medications and some symptoms tunnel vision ensued. I not only told the NP and everyone at the local ER that had ears but Torrey as well that I had this before and I thought it was the same diagnosis. It couldn’t possibly be that my renal and liver function caused metabolism problems it absolutely had to be the medications because that’s what fit their box they put me in. Then came the inappropriate questions and secondary diagnosis. I’m so angry and disgusted. Let this be a lesson to all doctors and nurses that they don’t know peoples stories until they learn to listen. I’ve been a nurse for over 30 years and if they treat me this way I can only imagine how they judge and treat others without any medical background.
