Rude. Didn’t show me my films/MRI. Told me there was nothing that could be done. So I went elsewhere and had very successful back surgery 5 years ago.

I had no problem with Dr. Krauss as my surgery resolved my most acute problem. However I developed new problem and after seven months have not been able to get an appointment to see him again. Why does he say he is taking new patients when he will not see previous patients.

Dr. Krauss got straight to the point and answered all our questions. He cancelled an invasive test that was scheduled rather than waste our time and my wife's pain. He was not quick to do surgery but was Frank that it may eventually need to be done. He recommended an interim step of a spinal injection and when discussing the procedure South the doctor that was doing the injection was absolve and helpful in adjusting the procedure for maximum positive outcome. So far so good. My wife felt confident worth Dr. Krauss immediately.

A life saver - performed two syrinx surgeries that stopped progression of paralysis each about 10 years apart. Could not locate such a surgeon in Michigan. He can seemed reserved but his skills make up for that. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others in their time of trouble. Believe he is one of the reasons Mayo is ranked number 1 in Nuerosurgery in the United States.

Have spinal syrinx which Dr. Krause performed surgeries twice over a 20 year period. He stopped the loss of body function and am forever indebted to his surgical skills. He is reserved which takes a bit to get used to, but his assistant makes up for this. Mayo is ranked #1 in Neurosurgery in the United States - Dr. Krause is one of the reasons. Would not hesitate to have him perform surgery again if the syrinx develops again.

A top flight, fantastic surgeon so if you desperately need a great neurosurgeon, he's your man. He is a very reserved individual, who is serious which you would expect, and a bit of an introvert but he is a very compassionate man and actually does warm up a lot once you get to know him so don't let his very quiet demeanor concern you.
