Excellent, I had a 2 level fusion a year ago and after the initial post operative pain, I have been pain free, something I have not been able to say for about 10 years.

Dr, Buttermann operated on my back seven months ago. The pain in my leg was at times unbearable from the disc and scoliosis issues I was having with my back. Although the surgery and recovery were very difficult, I am so glad that I made the move to have the operation and get my life back again. Dr. Buttermann was a wonderful, competent, caring doctor and a true blessing to me. Thank you , Dr. Buttermann!

Dr. Buttermann, his team, assistant, talents, skills, aftercare to PT was the best experience and outcome possible I believe. It's a new lease on life. You are putting your health, care, and future quality of life in great hands in every way.

In 2013 I had spine surgery with a "different surgeon", and was told my lower back pain was there to stay, "nothing could be done to change that". I was sent back to my life and job with no PT or after care. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IN THAT, OR ACCEPT THAT. I have also been left with painful left leg issues since 10 days-post his surgery, and that had been my good leg before his surgery. Moving forward I was highly recommended to seek out Dr Glenn Buttermann. His skill, talents, team, assistant, aftercare from transitional care to PT was the best in every way. My surgery with Dr Buttermann was both corrective/thorough and more extensive in every way, and now my quality of life is immeasurably better, and that "lower back pain is gone" !!!! He is the best in every way!

I've worked "hand in glove" with Dr. Buttermann for the last 14 years, providing interventional pain management and spinal diagnostic procedures for his patients. You won't find a more careful, dedicated, and technically meticulous spine surgeon anywhere. I recommend him very, very highly.

i would recommend Dr Buttermann to family and friends. I started seeing him after my daughter had to have a fusion of three vertebrate in her back. Her surgery was a major success. I just had my third fusion in my back. He was detailed in alternative treatments to insure that fusion was a last resort.

I have had several spinal fusion surgeries over the years with Dr.Buttermann , all as planned and all successful. I find him to be very thorough and I always leave with a plan and options in mind and when I leave, he's already implementing the next steps (MRI,PT, etc). He has always answered all of our (my wife's too) questions and has shown us the xrays and MRI's and pointed out how things are and how things should be. I believe he is at the top with his expertise and would certainly recommend.

I feel that Dr. Buttermann is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his field of expertise. I had back surgery one year ago, that I had put off for ten years. I am now 95%-100% pain free.. If you are looking for someone with a warm and fuzzy bedside manner, you better move on, Dr. Buttermann is probably not your guy. He is precise, matter-of-fact and let's get down to business. However, if you are looking for someone who cares whether or not your surgery is successful, give him a try.
