List of Glenn R. Buttermann's Reviews
Excellent, I had a 2 level fusion a year ago and after the initial post operative pain, I have been pain free, something I have not been able to say for about 10 years.
I had back pain for over 10 years and had tried everything, medication, physical therapy, massage, injections. I saw Dr. Buttermann and decided surgery was the best course of action. The surgery was a year ago and after the initial post operative pain resolved I have been absolutely pain free. I had a 2 level fusion and went back to work in 6 weeks.
I had cervical disk replacement. Dr. Buttermann and his associate did a great job. I am so glad I waited these years to find this new option in place of fusion. He was able to get me back to my life with out pain and headaches.
I have seen doctor butterman and Eric Solomon for approximately 11 years I think you will have patience for your reviews that is great feedback for me I'm looking at having surgery without the bottom in soon are they severe dish syndrome disease in my entire spine my first two surgeries I had in 1998 were botched the two-level fusion had to be refused A week later to six levels the plate that was put in in the front pulled back and never did the fusion heal properly so I had a revision done in 2003 by another surgeon Minolta bottom of my Fusion another one of my disease disc with the bone spur has pushed forward on my SPinal cord.. and I will be losing my complete legs and bottom half...I am so glad to here these positive reviews...
Dr, Buttermann operated on my back seven months ago. The pain in my leg was at times unbearable from the disc and scoliosis issues I was having with my back. Although the surgery and recovery were very difficult, I am so glad that I made the move to have the operation and get my life back again. Dr. Buttermann was a wonderful, competent, caring doctor and a true blessing to me. Thank you , Dr. Buttermann!
I had problems with headaches, shoulder pain, tingling and numbness in my hands. I ended up having a pinched nerve in my cervical spine and disc herniation. Dr. Butterman was great! He was honest, caring and treated me like a person and not a number. I am allergic to several metals and Dr. Butterman's worked with me and my dermatologist to make sure I was not allergic to any of the metals in the disc replacement device that he recommended putting in. The surgery was a success, no more headaches, my hand tingling in numbness is gone and my shoulder is doing much better.
Dr. Buttermann was able to repair a botched cervical spine fusion that the U of MN team had messed up several years before. The U team told me that my C-spine had been left so fragile after their botched job that they woudn't risk taking me to the OR to fix the mess they had made. They said my neck was going to spontaneously going to collapse and I was going to suffocate when it did, and that was all just too bad, they still would not risk operating to try to save me. I was walking around with a death sentance hanging over me when I went to see Dr. Buttermann. He proved them wrong! He fixed their sloppy work and gave me back a future. Thank you Dr. Buttermann!
Dr. Buttermann, his team, assistant, talents, skills, aftercare to PT was the best experience and outcome possible I believe. It's a new lease on life. You are putting your health, care, and future quality of life in great hands in every way.
In 1967 I had a motorcycle accident that nearly ended my life. I was really broken up. I healed slowly but about 10 or so years ago things caught up with me and I had so much pain with not much hope in sight. Then Dr Butterman and Eric Salsman did my back surgery and now I'm a 66 year old woman, pain free and walking. I was told many years ago by the doctors who first saw me after the accident, that I'd be in a wheelchair by the time I'm 30! But Dr Glenn Butterman changed that diognosid for me and here I am to tell one and all he is the best Dr I've ever known. Go see him if you have back problems. He knows his stuff. Doctor Butterman came to my rescue and I thank him. God bless you Dr Butterman and Dr Eric Salsman.
i would recommend Dr Buttermann to family and friends. I started seeing him after my daughter had to have a fusion of three vertebrate in her back. Her surgery was a major success. I just had my third fusion in my back. He was detailed in alternative treatments to insure that fusion was a last resort.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
