He was extremely eager to perform artificial disc replacement surgery. Did not follow surgical protocol for inserting the company’s artificial disc. He did not clean out the area or remove the large bone spurs. He did not even remove my flattened disc. He literally crammed in the new artificial disc and closed me up. Not acceptable. I had to have another extremely long and intensive surgery to have the artificial disc removed, my original disc removed, the area cleaned out, bone spurs removed, etc. and then an extremely talented and caring surgeon fixed what Dr. Jackman did not! BEWARE!

Injuries plus degeneration on cervical and lumbar spine caused severe pain and interfered with normal movement/function. Dr Jackman’s recommendations for quite conservative surgeries and subsequent physical therapy resulted in recovery of close to normal movement and sensations in extremities. I can independently function and enjoy my life, work productively, sleep reasonably well and do so without requiring medication. It took time and consistent effort with recommended PT to recover. What an excellent Orthopedic Spine Surgeon! I've had 4 spine surgeries from Dr. Todd Jackman. I had a cyst removed thst was pressing on a nerve causing Sciatic pain and 2 Spinal fusions for Sciatic pain. All of those surgeries were successful! I alsp had a neck Fusion. I highly recommend Dr. Todd Jackman!

Dr, Jackman, I am extremely frustrated. I was approved to have my surgery at your clinic. The only approval necessary was that you accept Medicare, which you do. I have spoken to both Medicare and Blue Cross. Blue Cross does not require any notice or pre-approval. They just follow Medicare. So we scheduled and I provided what your Midwest Spine and Brain Institute required, by email. My pre-op and clearance, uploaded 74 MRI images to your system, had a negative COVID rapid test, consultation with you. I received an email saying everything was good and my surgery was set. I was not told that a PCR was required, just another COVID test three days after arriving. I explained that would not be possible due to my flight schedule August 14-18 and was told that was ok. Turns out a PCR is def required and the minimum turnaround time is a minimum of seven days. So, my flight schedule was definitely impossible. I could have stayed in Minnesota for two weeks as my wife came with me. I wish that

Dr. Jackman performed spine surgery on me ten years ago that mostly corrected a failed surgery done by a neurosurgeon several years before. I was far more than pleased with every aspect of his planning, surgery, and post-surgery care.

He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors. He’s taken care of my spinal issues, surgeries and helped me heal in the past eight years. I am absolutely grateful to him for his amazing ability to help me heal. I see him yearly for follow up and he is always kind and incredibly caring. Not many doctors, especially, surgeons out there with this incredible bedside manner. I’m grateful.

Dr Jackman implanted an ROI-C, proudly boasted that he created the most distance he ever had between vertabra to a nurse friend of mine while i was still loopy from anesthesia, then sent me home with inadequate pain medication and became the invisibel man...rolling in pain I was ignored until a Proliance PA saw me ten days later and said I was "under medicated", and I realized I suffered immensely for ten days for no reason other than Dr. Jackman's inability to feel sympathy, compassion, or anything beyond his own ego. When I finally saw him for a followup he confirmed his callousness for me, needless to say 'sorry' was not in his vocabulary, he said "he just knew" I'd "be the sort of patient to complain"..when the surgery ended he had his money and waltzed away whistling a happy song..the "doctor" is in my opinion a disgusting excuse for a healer who before he gets to cut is friendly and sells blue skies and fluffy bunny outcomes..after that in his mind it's all the patient's fault.
