List of Lisa R. Wasserman's Reviews
Met this dr as a result of an ER visit for a break. She was kind, compassionate, and balanced my (excessive) emotions with a really solid medical recommendation. Stuck to the facts and provided excellent care. I feel lucky to have found her when I was feeling so vulnerable.
No bedside manner. Doesn’t listen to patients.
Does not listen to patient concerns. Bedside manner is the worst I’ve experienced. Seek a different doctor/ Surgeon. Go to Tria!
Excellent at explaining surgical options
Was not worth the four months it took for an appointment, to say the least. I got up and walked out on her after she laughed and called me crazy, cause she did not like, nor could answer a simple question.
My daughter was experiencing shooting pains in the bottom of her feet. Called and was very surprised that they had an opening the very next day. Showed up early for the appointment. Dr Wasserman came in and looked at her feet for maybe 3 minutes and said trust me the pain will go away. I asked how long we should wait for the pain to go away, again I was told trust me. Took her to another Doctor who wasn't a specialist and was diagnosed with plantar fascia. Disappointing...
Very poor surgeon. I had one foot surgery with her after an ankle dislocation. She opened the ankle up, looked around, removed a few vital ligaments, SPR and closed the site. Needless to say, when you remove parts you shouldn't and do a poor job of ligament repair the recovery doesn't go well. I suspect this is why she moves from practice to practice in the metro area. I had to go to a real foot and ankle specialist to repair her work and complete the work she ignored. Her best bet may be to return to Canada.
Spent over 1 year telling me to come back in 3 months for pulled tendon problem. Went for 2nd/3rd opinion to other orthopedic drs. who immediately saw I had neurological damage.
Doctor showed no empathy for patient's concerns and she expressed irritation at questions about diagnosis and followup. The brace technician to whom we were referred was equally unpleasant and unhelpful. This doc is recommended highly by physicians, so I'm guessing she is a skilled surgeon. The comment about her similarity to a marine interrogator is apt.
Dr. Wasserman has the patient care skills of a marine interrogator at Abu Grahv prison in Iraq. She is a poor listener, spends as little time with the patient as possible, shows little empathy for what a patient is experiencing, seems unfamiliar with how insurance works, comes across as impersonal and aloof. Not a good match up for anyone who wants answers to their medical issues or a supportive environmnet.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
