When I visited her for a foot issue I was experiencing, for which I had self-diagnosed myself with Morton's Neuroma thanks to Dr. Google, she very quickly looked at my foot and said yep, then said my only option was to get a Cortisone shot and do that a couple times and if it didn't work then surgery. I opted for the shot thinking it would be the answer. It's not her fault, but that didn't work. So I turned to my network to find other ideas and got a bolus of recommendations for what else can be tried - physical therapy, shoe inserts, etc... none of which Stephanie ever discussed with me; she jumped straight to the injection and surgery options. I have now identified a new Podiatrist to visit and I am hopeful he will give me the time of day to truly discuss my situation and options.

She never informed me my sesamoid bone was fractured until my four week check up, check up it thought was to see if I had to wear the walking boot anymore!
