List of Mai P. Nguyen's Reviews
She finally told me what was wrong with me what other doctors couldn't figure out. Because of her I my situation seems to be improving. She is funny and very professional and never had an issue with her. To me one of the best.
Very good for first couple of appointments to rule out RA. After that all my pain and issues was osteoarthritis which she doesn’t treat and wasn’t interested in. Everything became, it’s just part of it so I will now rely of my GP to help me manage this chronic condition.
I was very pleased with the thorough examination I received from Dr. Nguyen. She took time to explain my options, was non-judgemental and recommended a few life style changes to help with my disease. She had a great sense of humour and made me feel very comfortable with no anxiety at all. She recommended changing my medication slightly, but made it clear to keep her informed if I noticed any changes right away. I have total confidence in this Doctor and will be letting my G.P. know that she is great. I am disappointed in many of the reviews on this website and can't see how they could be legitimate, based on my experience with this young, but well trained, knowledgeable and clearly caring Doctor. Thanks for everything Dr. Nguyen.
Completely ignored my symptoms because I wasn’t actively having inflammation. Tried to pass off a malar rash as rosacea when I had previously seen a dermatologist who told me it wasn’t rosacea. She was very polite and fairly on time, but the fact she didn’t want to listen to what I had to say and dismissed my symptoms and was so caught up in telling me I what I don’t have, she didn’t give me any information on what I could or do have. I saw her multiple times with worsening symptoms and still was dismissed.
This doctor lied and delay treatment process. She had bad attitude and always yelling at patients. she treated patients like dusts. Bad manners and unprofessional.
Had a long wait. She had no idea what illness i have. Told me to go to a pain clinic. You have to wait 12 to 18 months for one. Waste of time. She would not help at all.
Dr. Mai Nguyen is now in El Paso, Tx with Texas Tech Physicians and University Medical Center. She saved by life after a terrible accident with skill and compassion. She rebuilt my arm and hip after much damage from the accident. She is a special person and Doctor.
I was being seen by Dr. Nguyen while she was a resident and working with Dr. Baillie. I saw her for a couple of years. When she started her own practice I was transferred over to her. I have seen her several times since she started on her own and so far I find her very confident and knowledgeable. Yes she is young, but I feel she would be more up-to-date on things than an older doctor. I had talked to Dr. Baillie before I was transferred to her and he assured me he would be consulting with her if there were any problems. So far, I really like Dr. Nguyen and trust her completely.
Dr. Nguyen is VERY young. I was surprised at how young she was. She was nice enough, and thorough with the exam, but wasn't helpful at all. When I told her about my pain she almost seemed like she didn't believe me, and called it a "story." She honestly seemed like she really didn't want to treat me. I will be going to see a specialist with more experience next time.
I echoed Mary B remark of terrible Doctor. She yelled at me on the phone as I was trying to explain my situations, telling me that her time was precious and I was wasting her time there. After 5 years since Mary's remark, the doctor was/ is the worst Doctor I encountered. If I could give her zero star I would.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
