List of Centracare Eye Center's Reviews
Had an appointment today. They told me to be there at 12:50 I was there at 12:45 not one car in the parking lot when I got there I go inside and I register and sit down. six patients come in and one by one get called back and I’m still sitting there at 1:19. not one word about why I am still waiting. Sometimes you just can’t take bad service and this was one of the times. I left I’m over it.
After being completely dissatisfied with the glasses I bought from America’s Best Hwy 23, St. Cloud, MN- I returned to Dr. Peterson. He informed me that America’s Best actually gave me a weaker RX! And; I need prisms added to my lenses! America’s Best never mentioned prisms. I’m so done with America’s Best. Shame on them!!
I have been a patient for decades and have *always* had a positive, professional, thorough and caring experience from the entire team. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Weisbrod and the staff here are so caring and professional! My father was struggling to enjoy life anymore without vision and they have gave him an entirely new outlook on life now with surgery.. The human side shown by doc and his staff is worth going here alone
A very dishonest eye clinic. Was told one thing and forced to do another. Tom houda should be fired.
Our whole family goes here and has been with Dr. Cabrera for 19 Years, she is the best!
Thanks a bunch for letting me trust you to treat my vision impaired toddler for the past year and then surprising us by mail to let us know you will no longer be treating kids. Or patients with his condition at all anymore.Didnt even warrant a phone call apparently because patients are just dollar signs now. Despicable. Best part of all this is you included a website to find a new doctor, but it just linked us back to only your clinic! It's the only one within a 100 miles that was able to see toddlers. Thanks a bunch! Now on to driving 4 hours for one eye appointment in the cities. Also it wouldn't be so irritating if you just would've told us when we were in a month ago!
The clinic was immaculate. I was greeted promptly when I arrived. The staff members were welcoming, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Greenberg was very thorough and explained the tests he was administering, the reasons for them, and the results very clearly in terms that a lay person could understand.
I received a bill for 700.00 for a basic eye exam. Nothing special. Less than 10 min with the doctor. I didn’t even get a new prescription for glasses. My insurance covers a yearly exam but they billed me as a “new patient” which is not coved under yearly exams On my insurance. And trust me I called and made sure they were in network and covered before I went there. My insurance said they would pay it if billing was resubmitted with right code. After fighting with centracare billing for several months I paid the bill but I would never go back here.
I had my first eye exam 8/5/19, I went next to them to the eye glasses store to pick out my glasses, they were helpful and I paid my bill of $ 735.42.... (thinking this was my exam and glasses total cost)... about 3 weeks later, I received a bill of $441.75 for the eye exam , I called to ask if this was a mistake, and she told me that this was the cost of the eye exam, and I let her know that I have only had glasses for 3 year's and had no problems and all I thought I was getting was a basic exam... she told me they did extensive tests on my eye's because of previous problems...I let her know that I have never had any previous problems and ask her if they could have mixed up my file with someone else's file, and she said no, this is what you owe .... I would not recommended this clinic to anyone because of this experience.. Tami

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
