This rating is not for Dr. McCann but for the appointment process of St cloud Orthopedics. I filled out online new patient information for my son. Added insurance info. He came 60 miles for this appointment. When he got there, they told him they don't take his insurance. He then paid $150 for an office visit and pre-auth. They then informed him they could not see him because they were not able to get his images from a prior appointment at a different clinic. He was able to pull up summaries from prior images if needed. He lost money taking the day off of work. It would help if the patient portal would indicate not taking the insurance when registering on line. I think Dr. McCann would have been a great consult for him.

Dr McCann was great! We had an appointment for my 18 mo old and he did so great with him! He explained everything in Lehman terms, made us feel comfortable, and really took the time to answer our questions.

I had midfoot fusion and 4 weeks later he had me walk on the foot. Broke all of the hardware so had to have 2 more surgeries to remove. Claims to have never seen this happen. Went to an amazing Dr at the Mayo clinic who said the only reason hardware breaks is because Dr let me walk on too soon and foot is not fused so has to be redone this coming fall. Never believe a Dr who says he can make you pain free!

I was impressed with Dr. McCann's knowledge. My problem isn't that bad. He told me what he could do for my big toe but I decided against the 2 possibilities.
