My visit was not planned, needed to see her soon after my emergency room visit and she got me in and was so helpful and explained what was going on. Which was a relief to me.

Doctor Schaap did a nice job explaining the condition of my knee, and discussing my pain levels and symptoms, and options available to me. I was expecting to do laparoscopic surgery to trim the torn meniscus, but we decided to try a second cortisone shot to see if that would alleviate enough of the pain to make surgery unnecessary at this time. I still have the option of surgery if that does not help over the next month. Hoping to manage pain and symptoms for now, and try some PT to help. Glad we are choosing a less invasive method before surgery!

I did not get to see anyone except the nurse. (She was great) I was roomed 30 minutes late and then was told the practitioner wouldn’t see me. They would not see me until I got an X-ray but they didn’t tell me beforehand so with the delay I didn’t have time.

Without doubt one of the best I ever have. Dr. Schaap is very patient and thorough in looking into the cause of my shoulder pains. She asked very specific questions and listens to my complains. I felt like she has all her focus on my condition and give several ways of attacking the problem. So lucky to find her!
