I was forewarned about dr Murphy and his bedside manner but I decided to give him a chance any way. My son saw him for a knee injury. Dr murphy not only seemed uninterested and dismissive he ended up misdiagnosing my son with a stress fracture in his femur, when in reality, we got a second opinion, and he had a meniscus tear. Dr. Murphy’s treatment plan for my son was to send him to home and do nothing. Very disappointed in the care we received.

This was a new doctor for me, my previous doctor (whom I loved, along with her PA) left St. Cloud Orthopedics. Waited 30+ minutes past my appointment time in the waiting room to be called back. The nurse doing my intake didn't know anything about my case, even though I've been a patient with St. Cloud Orthopedics the past three years, undergoing extensive diagnostic assessments leading to major surgery a year ago. I was surprised when I was asked why I was there - when the appointment was set at the recommendation of St. Cloud Orthopedics - and frustrated that I had to retell my entire medical history dating back years to the same office that was vital to that story. I then waited 30+ minutes again after the nurse left and left the office without seeing the doctor when it clearly was a waste of my time. I suspect the doctor wasn't even in the office. Very disappointed in the direction St. Cloud Orthopedics is going, I thought my doctor/surgeon and the PT team in the past was fantastic.
