List of Julie A. Dejong's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Dejong for 2 years and have had nothing but extraordinary care. She is always available to see me usually within one day. The Brooklyn Park clinic is not as busy as the Springbrook clinic and parking is much easier. She listens to my health concerns and always has a plan or treatment that works. Thank you Dr. Dejong!
Passed the buck on major muscle issues (turned out to be prominent MS) and ignored and belittled me. She claimed my major muscle issues were just in my head (if she meant a lot of lesions she would have been right-but she was insistent nothing was really wrong besides my thinking) I needed help ASAP and had to start over with a new doctor to finally get sent to a rheumatologist and spine doctor who found dymelation of my spine and second brain MRI showed multiple lesions. That starting over cost me precious time to get on the disease modifiers. I had presented Julie with hand issues, spasms, pain, difficulty walking and a crushing feeling in my ribs. Begged for help when it got so bad I could barely walk. But she not only blew me off as having mental issues, when I finally wrote her and told her what I really had - hoping she would learn and not set another patient back nearly a year to get the right diagnosis, I got kicked off the Internet access to all my records. I never swore, threatened or anything. Just a hope you learn. They ran. (Could they have been worried I would sue?) Either way, as nice as she seemed, she was completely incompetent and doesn't know two words "I'm sorry." She was my doctor and miserably failed me.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr Dejong for about 18months. I was new to Allina medical program, although HP is the insurance group, the rates are better with Allina's AMC. There is one in BP about 1/2 mile from my home. Dr DeJong has worked with me on my BP medication. It has been a complicated process working through unpleasant side effects. She listens and understands me, she remembers my family names and asks about them. Her nurse is phenomenal.
Dr. DeJong has a wonderful perception of my family's needs and health. My children do not fear going to the doctor. I hope she stay in our area
VERY UNPROFESSIONALDr. Bruce Young is very unprofessional, when talking with patient. Call you up at your home in the evening after business hours to tell you. His over the Allina Clinic in Brooklyn Park, MN and tell you not to bother ever coming back to the clinic. because no one (Doctors) at his clinic could help you. I said why not? You, have too many other Doctors. I said Dr. Young I have only four other Doctor's, that are Specialist. Dr. Young Why? Are you calling me? You are not my Doctor. "OH" I'm calling for Dr. Julie Dejong! Why? Didnt she call or send me a letter, I wasnt aware of any problem; between us. Dr. Young said there's not! you just have to many doctors. Far as I'm concern I would not want to put my care in there hands (Bogus discriminating) ever again. If there acting out like this, very unprofessional they desire each other. And I desire better care.Did I fail to mention the Allina Medical Clinic is only a block away I started being a patient in 2009 when the clinic first open up in our neighborhood over a year ago. Before that; I was a patient at Allina Medical before they where called Allina Medical for over 33 years. Ive seen Doctors come and go never this kind of behavior. On my way home when I drive by there I just turn my head. It makes my stomach sick, just knowing the two Doctors are in there.
Never felt safe or welcome around her. never listen to my medical problem. She seem to have some kind of depression and whinning.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
