This doctor has everything a patent would require. In addition to his expertise in his field, he is personable, willing to listen, and very easy to understand. I have had two surgeries with him, and they both came out excellent. In fact , the first scar is invisible, while the second scar, just done in April is hardly visible. I I had previously used in New England orthopedics and have found Dr. Whitman at the Hand Center so much better.

I’ve had 2 surgeries which were performed by Dr. Wintman. Both were very successful. The surgeries themselves were painless. Dr. Wintman has even found a way to administer the local anesthesia pain free. You don’t even know he’s doing it! The healing process was exactly as expected, that’s because Dr. Wintman was so thorough with his explanation of what I could expect. He’s an extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring doctor. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat!

Using Dr. Wintman to correct my carpal tunnel problem was a very positive experience. He was very personable and easy to talk to when I had any questions. He was able to inform me about what to expect from the surgery. And he did a great job. This is the 2nd time I have gone to Dr. Wintman for a carpal tunnel problem. But it was on the other hand. His staff is very professional, helpful and easy to work with.

Scheduled appointments were on time with minimal wait time. Staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Wintman explained in detail my procedure for carpal tunnel surgery. Everything went as planned although the wait time for the actual surgery was long. Must have been very busy in the operating room. Healing process has been as expected and I should be back to normal after about 3 weeks time. I would highly recommend The Hand Center and Dr. Wintman in particular.

I was a machinist for over 45 years, took a toll on my hands but I did love my job. Asked Dr. Wintman at the Hand Center to fix both my hands, that was over 4 months ago, wish I had known about him years earlier. Both hands are doing very well, couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. This is my second experience with Dr. Wintman at The Hand Center of Western MA. He and his entire staff are caring, professional, and made me feel confident & secure with the decision to have my hand surgery performed by them. From the initial assessment visits, through pre & post surgery - they were truly amazing! I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Wintman to anyone considering or needing hand surgery.

Dr Wintman has treated me for Dupuytren's . I had surgery in 3/2021 for right small finger and palm open palmar fasciectomy and surgery on my left hand in 11/2022. I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend Dr Wintman to anyone that needs treatment for Dupuytren,s. Dr Wintman and his entire staff are excellent to deal with.

Dr. Wintman did a wonderful job in his surgery on my left wrist. The outcome was excellent and I felt well-informed throughout the process. Dr. Wintman went out of his way to ensure that my concerns were completely addressed. Above all, Dr. Wintman is an experienced, caring healthcare provider with a good sense of humor. Dr. Wintman has taken excellent care of my arthritic hands for years, which has included numerous cortisone injections and two surgeries. He is thoroughly knowledgeable, patient with my concerns and questions, thoughtful and personable. We are lucky to have him in our community.
