Went to the ER and was not treated at all. Waste of money. This doctor refused to rule out any other medical conditions and was quick to blame my condition on covid. Wouldn’t listen to me. Wouldn’t address my concerns! I had to figure out what I had by myself! The ER shouldn’t charge patients they don’t treat! Oh, and my covid results came back negative so what is this so called doctor going to say now?? So lazy and quick to tell someone that them feeling paralyzed two days post surgery is due to covid when it wasn’t relayed to covid at all and no signed pointed to covid or an infection. I’ve lost faith in doctors. They just want your money and to get you out without even looking for the cause of your symptoms.

I met Dr. Wieker as an ER Dr. He was kind and listened to my symptoms before deciding on a course of tests. He chose a thoracic MRI which then identified my diagnosis of: transverse myelitis. Three other doctors in a nearby city missed this diagnosis. As the time of my visit the ER was extremely busy and I felt all staff were doing the best they could under the cirumstances. Dr. Wieker had me admitted to the hospital in a timely manner. My answers reflect his care as an ER Dr only.
