Worst treatment center ever I was in there 12 times and wasn't able to stay sober I went to vinland national center in lorreto mn i went there 1 time and I've been sober ever since I have been sober 15 yrs

Honestly, this program along with the greatest staff, saved my life. Yes, I did do all the work, however, it was because of the genuine support and care given. My counselors pushed me to be accountable to myself and others.

This was a horrible experience, with the exception of my exemplary aftercare group counselor, who no longer works there. My residential experience was in stark contrast. I was told that the residences are funded separately because that way they don’t have to provide hospital quality food , so they can run it less expensively. That’s one way of putting it . The food was all junk (Little Debbies for breakfast, cheap carbs). I gained 20 lbs, which I quickly lost after I left . An RA at the dingy women’s facility (which looked just like a drug motel...talk about triggering) told me I couldn’t ever go outside. I have breathing problems and found out later that going outside WAS allowed. I had not had any infractions of their rules or anything... the RA staff just fabricated the indoor-only rule. She gave me all kinds of infractions with no investigation at all, just hearsay, and treated my mom like a criminal when she visited. The therapy groups in which we spent most of our day were led by a very young counselor, who allowed a sociopathic acting patient to take over the group, berating everyone, cursing at them and insulting them about how insincere their treatment desires are. Then the counselor would make us answer to her allegations. I ended up not saying anything in group, because I did not want to get kicked out for whatever I had to do to stop this situation, so I just tried to disappear so the girl wouldn’t notice me. I did discuss it with the counselor in private and nothing was done. I was not, by any means, one of those girls primary targets but it made the environment oppressive. Said mean girl was kicked out when drugs were found, in her system and on her person, yet she has been held up as a model patient and allowed to drag others for “addict behavior.” I have no personal problem with her, as her behavior was very typical of a using addict (and I don’t blame anyone for struggling), but this was very unprofessional of staff. Recovery Plus has me on medication after exit, until they lost their addiction medicine doctor. I understand this may happen, but they didn’t provide me with any referrals or follow up to make sure that I had any continuity of care after that.

We had a pretty good experience, the staff seemed to know what they were doing. My son was kicked out for non compliance and being toxic. I wish they would have worked on his behavior more instead of kicking him to the curb. We sure aren't equipped to deal with him at home.

I was kicked out for something I didn't even do they didn't investigate nothing and I ended up in jail for 3 days because of lies. And not only that i watched a girl who was coming down from heroin and she was sick as could be but they wouldnt help her but they gave medicine to someone who didn't need it, the girl ended up leavi g because she couldnt handle the withdrawas.

DOESN'T ALLOW SMOKING AS OF NOVEMBER 1ST 2019

My son is currently on his second stay at the Adolescent treatment program. Although we aren't happy that he had to return for more help, I knew that he was returning to a safe and nurturing environment where the staff would be courteous and respectful of his needs. He has a lot of anger, and has been working it out with people who understand his mental illness and genuinely care about his recovery. I am very happy that they encourage a high level of family participation in his recovery, as we all need to make changes for things to get better. I feel completely confident that my son is getting the best care possible, and I am provided with updates whenever I ask for them. I trust this facility with my son's life, and I'm not sure that there is a higher level of respect than that. Not everything is perfect - of course - but that's because we are all human.

Absolutely horrible counselors they do not care about anyone that is “sick” or needs help with drugs. A lot of the staff there is nice I will give them that but Steve and Whitney were not very nice staff and it made me have a horrible experience. With all the withdrawal and the bickering I couldn’t take it. I think this place has some potential but fix the counselers!! They were so so rude and I agree with the previous comment do not come here whatever you do.

I was here and loved everything about this place I'd recommend it to people that have the disease of addiction

The food at the woman’s house is absolutely terrible there is no way anyone could claim that there is nutritional value to this stuff. Seems unorganized.
